Although Ebert's a leftist POS, he's gone through pure hell with cancer and shown a lot of guts and class in fighting a particularly horrible, disfiguring form of the disease. As can be seen from this article, it looks like he's going to be in the hands of the Lord in a fairly short time. Each of us should say a brief prayer for him.

The prognosis doesn’t look good at all. Prayers up and hopes that Mr. Ebert knows as much peace as is possible in the times ahead.

Looks like a Siskel & Ebert reunion is in the works.

I’m sorry, but the contempt that liberals show people like me, and the outright war on liberties causes me to see them as enemies, not as fellow Americans.

He's a human being, a gifted film reviewer, and an example of great courage under extreme duress.
God bless him.

How hard is it to be a film critic? Sounds like the easiest job in the world.

I thought so, until I read his reviews, and compared them to others, like on IMDB.
He's very talented.

God bless him. "God *save* him" would be more appropriate.

Looks like a Siskel & Ebert reunion is in the works. Depends on whether the Lord gives them "two thumbs up" or "two thumbs down".

I thought so, until I read his reviews, and compared them to others, like on IMDB. AKA the day job he should've stayed with, as opposed to using his notoriety to attack Sarah Palin, Tea Partiers, and conservatives in general.

Each of us should say a brief prayer for him. I have. I value his input on movies. Every film he puts down is the one I will see.

Worthless? Hes contributed a lot to the film culture in the U.S. Yes, he wrote the screenplay for "Beneath the Valley of the Ultra-Vixens." (he really did)
Anyway, cancer sucks. I wish Mr. Ebert peace.
