A server at Buffalo Wild Wings reportedly refused to serve eight police officers, because they had their weapons displayed.
The Prince William County Police officers were on-duty, but were in plain clothes, reports the Manassas Patch. They were refused service by an employee who stated that the property was a gun-free establishment.
The officers had their badges displayed but still weren't served.
Scott Lupton, the general manager of the Manassas Buffalo Wild Wings location says the incident was a "huge misunderstanding." Lupton wrote an email to the police department to apologize on behalf of the business.
Lupton wasn't there during the incident, but was brought up to speed the next day after returning to work.

Hey gun free should be gun free. After all, its not the person that is banned, but rather the object, right?
The police were free to leave their weapons in their vehicle, just like anyone else, right?
Sort of like Gander Mountain or Cabella's hanging out a "Gun Free Zone" sign.
Stupid to be gun-free, but cops need to abide by the rules, too.

The employee was just doing as directed and management took care of it. No big deal.

I’m afraid that we’re going to be seeing and hearing about more of these incidents in the near future. Seems as though obama is recruiting all kinds of folks to help promote his gun-grabbing agenda.
The good news is, Prince William County police officers will now get free coffee at Buffalo Wild Wings.
Pay back is a b**** isn’t it???
In the future, when the place is being robbed, the police should repond: “Sorry, we can’t help you, you don’t want guns in there so....”

You don’t actually believe that their customers are paying any attention do you? They are too busy tracking their brackets to pay attention to issues related to liberty...
I think all females should take note that signs make places safer.
I think every woman should wear a sign that says “Rape Free Zone”. That way, when they are walking down a dark street, and a rapists approaches, she can say “Stop. Look. I have a sign.”
The rapist will say “dangit!” and go about his business.

And in every state the police, law makers, officials and judges should be limited by the same laws that limit the citizens, period.
The other source for best-quality wings, also a male/sports establishment, is Taco Mac, my personal favorite. Unfortunately they now have signs at the door saying no weapons allowed.
