You're just figuring this out?
Jerry Brown did the same thing here in CA and you wont find a single conservative defending him. But you die-hard La Raza Rick supporters continue to defend Ricks leading the way to this day. Its strange, really it is.
I concur... Absolutely!
But unlike mylife, who's a political wannabe party hack, I will state the truth no matter how bad it hurts...These party people defended Perry going up in front of racist, pro-illegal alien groups, all while lending them credibility and legitimacy. That's all I needed to see/hear.
These party hacks are disgusting and transparent at best.
“You know, I am thinking the same thing - how could this happen in a conservative state of Texas? Something is wrong, somewhere that we are currently missing...”
After spending the vast majority of my working career in the printing industry and working closely with Newspapers, I can tell you with 100% accuracy the media is completely dependent upon you “not knowing what you don’t know”.
There is no need for them to lie or distort, even though they do, as their biggest weapon is the “Spike” which in the old newsrooms was an actual spike where stories which were never to see the light of day were impaled upon.
This is why liberals hate FOX,
because FOX has been showing too many of the stories the liberal media has spiked.
As long as the media can keep us in a position of “not knowing what we do not know” the progressive assimilation can continue.
They do not want the general population knowing just how much the progressives (aka communists too chicken to tell us who they are) have infiltration public schools, universities, legal profession, and of course the media.
“Not knowing what you don’t know” is essential to them. Ask yourselves that question every day.
Don't drink. As far as the rest of your statement, I will simply consider your posts for the answer
You don't drink so you are just stupid? Fair enough.
You can think what you like, but I think you are way out of bounds on the forum.
As I said, CA’s Jerry Brown did the same thing and was rightly criticized by conservatives for having done so. No one but liberals defended the move by Brown. No one. Yet Perry’s supporters continue to defend their pro-ILLEGAL alien governor even going as far as to say it was the right thing for Texas. Not only is that laughable, it’s pathetic.
Accusing you of being stupid or drunk was a response to you telling me to get a life. If you don't like the comments about you personally try not soliciting them by making comments about others personally.
This is an online course that the local school district paid for with its own money. Unfortunately the system for screening textbooks hasn't been expanded to handle courses like this that have no text book. Believe me the Texas legislature is writing legislation right now to deal with this loophole.

You know, I have long since given up on the statements or ideas of Local, State, or especially the Federal Government.
It’s way long past time for our own Local Government to set standards for Local schools! Really way past time to consider other alternatives. That of course requires local parental influence which seems to be at a low these days.
Maybe we should just admit that parents just don’t care these days (keeping it clean here)...or maybe it is because we have too many single parents who don’t either have the time or the inclination to worry about their kids education.
I have given up regrading this - if local parents don’t give a crap about what is going on regarding their own children, why should I? I’m way too old to care anymore!
Shameful but correct! Agree wholeheartedly! Too bad though that it probably won’t change in my lifetime anyway.
Very perceptive! Everything you said is so true.
The scary part is why?
Sorry to say that CSCOPE seems to be essentially universal in Texas schools for several years (from what I’ve read). Unfortunately, as long as it required full participation of parents for their kids education, it will be ignored. Way too many are busy or have little interest in what is being taught these days. They find out by accident or a news article.
Parents have become too complacent in accepting what is being taught these days. Unless we get a Conservative group that constantly checks on what our children are being taught (means a full time job - hopefully supported by the public) we will succumb to the results of the liberal agenda.
This was not an online course problem. CSCOPE is state wide and has been in force for several years according to my reading.
I think the CSCOPE textbook information might be more widely used than you think (at least from what I’ve been reading - could be wrong). It seems to me to be a national attempt to spread their texts though and has been in textbooks for several years now but just now coming into view via Texas.
