Chief Justice Roberts' Lesbian Cousin: He'll Rule in Favor of Same-Sex Marriage

(CNSNews.com) – Supreme Court Chief Justice John G. Roberts’ cousin, a lesbian seeking to get married in California who will have reserved seating for relatives at two upcoming cases, wrote that she believes her cousin will rule in favor of same-sex marriage in an op-ed posted on the National Council for Lesbian Rights.

A spokesperson for the court did not respond to questions about a potential conflict for Roberts.

“I know that my cousin is a good man,” Jean Podrasky, 48, of San Francisco wrote. “I feel confident that John is wise enough to see that society is becoming more accepting of the humanity of same-sex couples and the simple truth that we deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, and equality under the law.

“I believe he understands that ruling in favor of equality will not be out of step with where the majority of Americans now sit. I am hoping that the other justices (at least most of them) will share this view, because I am certain that I am not the only relative that will be directly affected by their rulings,” she added.

Disregarding the concept of language has nothing to do with society's views changing or "equality under the law" - or did she explain how two people of the same sex can be husband and wife in order to be able to get married? Still waiting for this question to be answered by the same sex "marriage" advocates.

Yes. Bush was a moron. Plain and simple. Slandered beyond what he deserved, when compared to how other presidents were treated, but he did NOTHING for the conservative movement. He discredited us.
He let that homo Masshole crash our housing market.
He failed to secure our border at a time that was critical.
He failed to do a single thing about the progressive indoctrination in public education.
But he’s gone now. Our problem is the holdovers from his tenure. Tokyo Rove, and an entire cabal of loser RINO advisers, one of which was arguing for homosexual marriage on Chris Wallace’ Sunday show.
Colin Powell. He’s a nobody, but people can still run to him when they want a ‘Republican’ to call his own party racist, despite the position he held UNDER REPUBLICANS!
There are a number of senators and house members who were party to Bush’s failure. Thankfully, most of the turds in the house have gone, Boehner’s moderate Stasi residing, and the senate has been cleaned of the Specter, Lugar, Chambliss class. McLame still stands, along with his butt fungus Linseed Graham, but we’re going to fumigate that wart soon.

Mark Levin calls them the ‘Rockefeller Republicans’. I just call them the garbage. And garbage day is comin’ around...

Yes, Scarey thought isn’t it? Our Constitution has been ignored to extent that it has (By our own Supreme Court) become meaningless. Either we the people wake up or it is gone. Seems that losing a bit at a time is okay with most...slow is okay as long as it does not scare folks.

Hope to see another Revolution while I’m alive...(That statement ought to attract the Feds)...

Not sure I would want to live in the current future.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure Roberts is a closet case. I’ve seen that before ... several homosexuals in one family. I do think it is genetic. That said, I also think that promoting homosexuality as “normal” and just fine and dandy is like saying that being born with a harelip or a clubfoot is just awesome and great too. A harelip or clubfoot may be natural, in the sense that Nature has determined it, but it is NOT “normal,” and certainly not desirable or to be celebrated.

As far as I am concerned and for what my opinion matters there never should have been any questions about marriage being between a male and female as written in the Bible by many years past. The USA has been evolving into the latest copy of Sodom and Gamora with many prominent and not so prominent persons assuaging their pangs of justification. If same sex homos want to have their kind of love and care let them use some other term. They already have absconded and dirtied the word ‘gay’ and that should be enough just to prevent the/a common feeling of happiness.

The other quote from her as well...

“...I am hoping that the other justices (at least most of them) will share this view, because I am certain that I am not the only relative that will be directly affected by their rulings,”

More gay relatives?

Besides Ronald Reagan, who can the Republicans point to as a good president?

Honestly, I think in the long long of GOP presidents, the only other one, beside Ronald Reagan, who was truly Conservative was Calvin Coolidge.

“No. The Supreme Court held in 1967 that laws against interracial marriage were unconstitutional, but no church or synagogue which objects to them has ever been forced to perform such a marriage.”

Back in the 80s I had a relative that belonged to a nationally spread out small church branch where a disgruntled man left because the deacon (or whatever his title was)said he had no authority to marry anyone whatsoever. So, the man who wished to marry went to the local news media and claimed that they refused to marry him and his wife because she was black.

The local media obviously ignored the law you just cited. I hope you’re correct but the left doesn’t really seem to care about that.

Thanks for the information, I didn’t know that. But it did spark the aforementioned memory.

The Constitution makes NO mention of marriage so adjudicating civil morality is NOT one of the enumerated powers.

Therefore, the feds have nothing to say on this issue, as per the Tenth Amendment. Walk away from it and let the states decide.

Of course, if they’re going to start invoking the Tenth ... hmm ... look at all those fat federal law books ... hmm.

Homos are NOT genetic - they choose the perverted lifestyle.

There is absolutely no scientific evidence to the contrary.

Finally, God made “Adam & Eve” - steve was never in the mix.

Ultimately God stated clearly that homosexuality is wrong, a sin and an abomination. those who choose this satanic life are destined for the bowels of hell.

Truth hurts, eh homo supporter?

Chief Justice Roberts'

The disappointment called Chief Justice Roberts may act as his cousin predicts. Chief Justice Roberts displayed his decision to rule based on his personal feelings rather than the law he took an oath to uphold.

Gay marriage began with a Judge suggesting, and
Mitt Romney IMPOSING by threat.

Romney Marriage (Gay marriage) is here to stay, forever,
just like RomneyCARE/ObamaCARE.

Any judge at any level who is homosexual or has a homosexual relative should be required to recuse himself regarding homosexual marriage.

HOMOSEXUAL, because there’s nothing GAY about it.

Wait until she gets unnerved at the fact that the Muslim men who want four wives will used the exact same argument to win their case.

She will be fine with it, because her ultimate goal, as with most of the Pink Mafia, is the destruction of Judeo-Christian morals in society.

God’s judgement is coming...you can bank on it.

It's here; Obama II is clear proof.

She’ll be fine with it until she’s one of the wives.

You’re really rude, and incorrect as well. I am not a supporter of homosexuality, as you would have realized if you’d actually read my post instead of having a kneejerk reaction to it.
