The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has awarded $1.5 million to study biological and social factors for why “three-quarters” of lesbians are obese and why gay males are not, calling it an issue of “high public-health significance."
Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Mass., has received two grants administered by NIH’s Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) to study the relationship between sexual orientation and obesity.
“Obesity is one of the most critical public health issues affecting the U.S. today,” the description of the grant reads. “Racial and socioeconomic disparities in the determinants, distribution, and consequences of obesity are receiving increasing attention.”

Could it be that birth control and abortion have made sex easier for men to find, because there are no consequences for sex, so the men take advantage of it....hasn’t variety always been the spice of life? huh? wouldn’t men apt to more unlikely to make a marital commitment to a female, if there’s a steady supply of willing sex partners on the next bar stool, or sprinkled across the internet? the gals get tired of being jilted, so they shack up with other females, and share the toys. No more heartbreak! imho, birth control and abortion have ushered in runaway faux lesbianism, and real breast cancer....so much for women being liberated....and they keep voting in mass for the politicians who maneuvered them in this hateful position.
The liberals do these studies with a finding already in mind. They’ve been trying to say that homosexuality is genetic. And now they’ll start saying it’s a health problem. Then, it becomes a disability and you and I pay them for being homosexual. Welcome to the real goal.

In the case of women, that manifests in the revulsion of male sexuality, and the desire to dissuade male attention.

Heard this on the local talk radio yesterday and then Rush talked about it on his show. Rush had it right, women don’t care about looks so they let themselves get fat and ugly.

Since you are funding $1.5 million to study fat lesbians, I would like to apply for a similar grant.
I am not a lesbian, however, I am somewhat overweight. I could use a study to find out why.
