SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX 5) A controversy has been re-ignited this week as ten new ads go up on San Francisco Muni buses containing quotes used by terrorists.
Killing Jews is worship that draws us closer to Allah, reads one of the ads, which has people debating the line between free speech and hate speech.

San Francisco wont tolerate Islamophobic bigotry, said Gascon. The only thing necessary for evil to prevail is for good people to look the other way and do nothing.
Board of Supervisors President David Chiu said the American Freedom Defense Initiative is made of well-known hate extremists and said he is introducing a resolution at Tuesdays board meeting to denounce the ads.
Looks like some right-wingers in SF are refusing to toe the line.
I applaud what Geller has done with this in your face ad campaign - turning the syrupy lies of pro-islamic propaganda into a counter punch. The creepy left may view this as hate speech, yet at almost any university today pro-islamic propaganda is actively encouraged on campus.
I believe the point here is that anti-islamic group has put these up to raise awareness of what the islamists are actually saying.
And when they talk about “hate speech”, what they mean is that liberals are attacking the anti-islamist groups for putting up these QUOTES, saying that QUOTING accurately from the islamic fundamentalists is HATE SPEECH. Not the islamists — they are moderate and tolerant. It’s those who QUOTE them that are the haters.
What’s wrong with putting the words of the terrorists out there? People should know what these people are saying.
Killing Jews is worship that draws us closer to Allah,...WTF? What the hell needs to be debated? How the hell can that crap be plastered on the sides of public funded transportation?
Hate speech is a crock. This statement is solicitation to murder and should be treated as such.
San Fransisco now accepts Terrorist advertising?...I hope they hit Frisco first!
If it were about homosexuals, the “hate speech” activists would be up in arms and it would be on the MSM news 24/7 for weeks on end.
If it were about Christians, virtually nobody would be batting an eyelash.
The ad campaign is being run by Pam Geller, an ANTI-jihad activist, to illustrate the true nature of Islam (in a disturbing manner which will get people to think).
The most effective way to combat Islam, is to tell people what Islam believes in.
Geller is very good at exposing muslime evil...and the evil-doers know it, too.
Yep. I thought of that as well. Fight liberals and muslims with their own words and let them defend them.
Well, I a seem to be one of the ones not reading the article. Hate to go to those slimey rags. After reading, the ads seem fair game and are far from Islamophobic and in the context of who posted them, are not solicitation to murder.
STRAP A BOMB TO YOUR LITTLE MUZZIE AND SEND HIM OFF TO SCHOOL. SHOW YOUR LOVE FOR YOUR PEDOPHILE GOD.
Go to the link and listen for the sucking sound of chuckleheads imploding as they get the ad campaign ENTIRELY WRONG.
The quotes of Muslim terrorists are hateful; the presentation of those quotes, loving.
It’s not hate speech against Muslims when you catch them condemning themselves out of their own mouths.
It’s not hate speech if you inform the stupid what the Koran and the Clerics actually SAY.
Fitna was widely condemned as hate speech. Yet all it did was quote the Koran and the clerics, chapter and verse.
It's CBS and San Francisco, it's not necessary, they're both anti American shill outfits.
It's either treason or optics, never genuine.
And that is just ONE gold brick in that road my FRiend.
You have to go into the article before you find that the ads are anti-jihad (showing terrorists’ own words).
That is correct. Very clear after reading the story.
