On this weekend's broadcast of The McLaughlin Group, regular liberal panelist Eleanor Clift accused Senator Rand Paul of trying to "stir a revolt against the U.S. government."
ELEANOR CLIFT: I'm with John McCain and Lindsey Graham, who basically said this was over the top and creating a sense that the government is really just waiting for this opportunity to drop a drone on you. But, I'll grant you the point. The ACLU put out a statement siding with Rand Paul and this is where the left and the right do meet.

Geez, Eleanor. Ever since the founders’ days the U.S. federal government has been seen as potentially public enemy number one. And now it has become what the founding fathers warned us about.

From my perspective, Rand Paul or anybody else doesn’t need to do much stirring. Maybe these airheads should pay a little more attention to the simmer that’s going on all across the country.
Every time an eleanor clift or a nancy pelosi or obama open their mouths, they heat the pot a little more. What I see is a pressure cooker getting very close to exploding and they should shut the hell up.
