The anti-Rand Pauls, Sen. John McCain of Arizona and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, took to the Senate floor this morning to defend killing American citizens at presidential discretion. Graham is doing so live on C-SPAN2 right now, saying that everything you do is a danger to America no matter who or where you are, as long as the U.S. government has decided you have "joined al-Queda," whatever the hell that means....The Republican Party is at war, folks, and let's hope Rand Paul and his troops win.

I wonder: How was dinner with Obama last night? John? Lindsey?
While these 2 were out making back room deals with the gangsters from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, real republicans were filibustering.

"Rush just quoted Graham as saying that Rand Pauls filibuster motivated Lindsey to vote for Brennan."
If that information is accurate, that should be enough motivation to defeat Graham in the primary or even throw the general election to the Rat rather than have another traitor in the GOP.

The words came from the mouths of McCain and Lindsey, but it was very clearly JEALOUSY speaking.
These two over-the-hill has-beens are sensing their own slides into irrelevancy. Little Lindsey will be successfully primaried out in 2014 and McCain will be ready for the drool bucket farm before he is next up for reelection.

An astute observation.
Rand Paul and Ted Cruz are the heart of what the Republican Party SHOULD be. We need to fill the party, and then political offices, with them.

It is obvious that the Republican Party has moved leftward and left the Conservative portion of the base. Rand Paul’s filibuster may have signaled the end of the old guard in the Republican Party. I will no longer and hold my nose and vote GOP anymore. I will search for other options.

Look what’s happening out in the streets
Got a revolution Got to revolution
Hey I’m dancing down the streets
Got a revolution Got to revolution
Ain’t it amazing all the people I meet
Got a revolution Got to revolution
One generation got old
One generation got soul
This generation got no destination to hold
Pick up the cry
Hey now it’s time for you and me
Got a revolution Got to revolution
Come on now we’re marching to the sea
Got a revolution Got to revolution
Who will take it from you
We will and who are we
We are volunteers of America

Yes, and the Republicans want JEB BUSH—give me a break.

These 2 fossils need to move along. We don’t want Republicans that love to “cross the aisle” to advance liberal agendas . That’s McCain’s specialty. We need this new bunch that’s not afraid to stand for our conservative values and stand up to the bullies that are the democrats. However, I do like the fact that Graham is staying on top of Benghazi.

I guess Maxine Watters doesn’t think Obama and Holder are “destructive” with their drone assassinations.

However, I do like the fact that Graham is staying on top of Benghazi. I will give him that.

- ...by softening its edge on some volatile social issues and altering its image as the party always seemingly "eager to go to war... We do need to expand the party and grow the party and that does mean that we don't always all agree on every issue" ... the party needs to become more welcoming to individuals who disagree with basic Republican doctrine on emotional social issues such as gay marriage... "We're going to have to be a little hands off on some of these issues ... and get people into the party," Paul said. [Rand Paul: Time for GOP to soften [immigration, gay marriage] stance]
- One day after announcing on his radio show that he is "truly considering" running in 2014 for the U.S. Senate seat now held by New Jersey's Frank Lautenberg, Rivera amped up his message today in a television interview and a column on the Fox News Latino website... a moderate Republican who is fiscally conservative but also supports gay marriage and Roe v. Wade... [Geraldo Rivera declares himself a 'moderate Republican' as he eyes U.S. Senate run]

I think we should use every medium available to us. Senator Paul along with Senators Rubio, Cruz, Lee and others used a filibuster to get the word out. They knew the left would call them freaks, Tea Party fanatics, whatever but they stood for what's right. So I don't care how the left sees it, I want to get the word out that we're still here, that Americans are still here and we'll stand together for the Constitution.
