This morning, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) told Glenn Becks radio team that he had some new information about the U.S. government drone program information that some individuals might find troubling. Later in the day, TheBlaze obtained letters that were sent to the senator by Attorney General Eric Holder and President Barack Obamas chief counter-terrorism adviser John Brennan.
It is select contents in Holders letter that citizens might find most problematic. After Paul sent an inquiry to learn more about the governments drone program and to ask whether the president has the power to authorize lethal force, such as a drone strike, against a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil, and without trial, he received a response that is sure to be scrutinized.
The senators inquiry was certainly specific, however the governments response was not so concise or at least not pointed enough to put critics like Paul at ease.
In a response dated March 4, 2013, Holder wrote that the U.S. government has not carried out drone strikes in the United States and has no intention of doing so. The attorney general went on to note that federal officials believe that in areas where there is well-established law enforcement, these officials serve as the preferred mode of handling terrorist threats; military options inside U.S. borders are, thus, rejected.
We have a long history of using the criminal justice system to incapacitate individuals located in our country who pose a threat to the United States and its interests abroad, the letter reads. Hundreds of individuals have been arrested and convicted of terrorism-related offenses in our federal courts.
While this would likely set at ease anyone worried about the potential use of drones on U.S. land, Holder doesnt conclude there. It is the next section of the letter

welcome to Amerika ... NOW RUN FOR COVER !!
Makes sense. Holder is concerned about possible domestic enemies.
Of course, his enemy is conservatives, constitutionalists, tea partiers.
hmmm... are funeral services now considered ‘due process’??

The Disappointing Reveal!
N'yuk n'yuk n'yuk.
;-\
Rand Paul has been making the rounds today with Beck, Hannity, and who knows who else. He’s been talking up his drone strike concerns since at least Sunday night with Aaron Klein.
Where there’s smoke, there’s fire. This is a fire that needs to be extinguished ASAP!
“While this would likely set at ease anyone worried about the potential use of drones on U.S. land” - article
No it wouldn’t. Holder is purposely evasive to a very straightforward question.
Holder is saying they have no intention to use the armed drones flying over US soil to strike US citizens on US soil, unless Obama thinks it is really needed.

It will be “really needed” when people start defending themselves from the EBT rioters... can’t have that.
There ought to be a law against this, so Rand introduce one
One should never underestimate the creativity and strong will of Americans that are forced into a corner, believing that they must fight or die.
This is just a small example. I think this might be a fun toy.

“Holder is concerned about possible domestic enemies.”
He should be.... they are doing their level best to create them.
This is the “biggest story of our lifetimes” (as characterized by Glenn Beck)? Anyone who does not think the government believes it has the power to take you out at any time, with or without due process, by any means necessary, has been asleep since Waco.
Uhmmmmm....Wow!
And these A-holes have the gall to foment a civil war in Syria and denounce Assad for firing on his own people?
I’m actually stunned that Holder left open the possibility that he could find a legal and lawful justifucation for deadly use of force, by our military, over the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
That right there proves why the 2A is vital in throwing off a government that would undermine our God given rights and force us into fealty and abbeyance to beauracrats(parliament and the Administration(King).
Unbelievable how these guys find wiggle room in everything.
bttt
“It will be really needed when people start defending themselves from the EBT rioters... cant have that.”
That would disparage Holder’s people, like charging them with a federal voting crime caught on video at a polling place.
I wasn’t clear.
The drone strikes would be used against those defending their lives and property from the rioters.
