On his own. To be clear, they think he should have the power to do this on his own. This is what years of screeching during the Bush era about the unitary executive has come to.
I’m guessing that, maybe, 39% of Democrats think Obama should be able to kill anyone he wants at any time. He’s the president, right??
DHS definition of terrorist: Someone who did not vote for Obaba or someone who makes any critical remark re. Obaba or his wife Mrs. Marcos. Or anyone who attends a christian church, believes in traditional American values, respects the U.S.Constitution, likes NASCAR, guns, hunting and fishing,...or is white.
I think your estimate is low.
Michael: My father is no different than any powerful man, any man with power, like a president or senator.
Kay Adams: Do you know how naive you sound, Michael? Presidents and senators don’t have men killed.
Michael: Oh. Who’s being naive, Kay?
So, if the POTUS just SUSPECTS you of terrorism, you are no longer a human being with rights, you’re a target?
Mighty convenient method of getting rid of your political enemies............
If they are racists, they're probably terrorists, too.
Keith Ellison....please pick up the courtesy phone.
This used to be conspiracy stuff....not any longer!
This government is out of freakin control y'all.
Wouldln’t waterboarding be kinder?
Probably evil doers who nibble their pastries into gun shaped morsels.
whatever power they give their guy, our guy will use as his startign point next time.
Sadly, 26% of Republicans agreed with this as well. I imagine if we had a GOP President or even a Democrat less offensive than Obama, that number would be quite a bit higher.
We need to stop being such cowards. Our young men in the military are putting their lives on the line every day, and many pay for our freedoms with their life and limbs, yet we are so quick to sacrifice those basic freedoms to maybe reduce our odds of dying in a terrorist attack from 1 in a million to one in 2 million.
We each have about a 1 in 7,000 chance of dying in a car accident, this year. Are we willing to give up our cars to reduce that much more likely threat, the way we give up our God given, Constitutional rights, to reduce the far more remotepossibility of dying at the hands of terrorists?
Any American who is not willing to live with a 1 in a million chance of being killed by terrorists in order to keep our freedoms and way of life, is not worthy of being called an American, or of the blood of the soldiers who have died protecting our rights.
Can we have a competition to see who is #1 on the list?....
Aside from myself I know many how have emailed, faxed, and openly criticized not only Nobama and his ilk but also his GOP infiltrators.
Wow, no wonder obama got reelected. That’s a lot of stupid Americans.
Gather up the Guantanamo Bay terrorists release them in a field and blast them with drones. Dems should be all for that plan.
Yep.
Wood'a been helpful in the title or first sentence.
I listened to John Bolton discuss this on Stoessel 2 weeks ago. He says that the US Constitution gives the president the authority as Commander in Chief to kill enemies of the US no matter where they’re from. He was very convincing.
The Left hated waterboarding — until Obama created kill lists and claimed he can kill Americans,
The Left hated the Patriot Act — until Obama reauthorized it and vastly expanded it.
The Left hated Gitmo — until Obama quietly kept the place running 5 years after promising to shut it down.
The Left hated any interference with controling the Internet — until Obama created a kill switch and set up vast government Internet spy and tracking operations.
The Left hated any invasion of privacy — until Obama set up a network of drones to spy on Americans.
The Left hated Bushs’ “wanted: dead or alive” talk — until Obama’s agencies bought billions of rounds of ammunition, bout thousands of drones, and purchased thousand of civilian police armored vehicles.
