A Long Island Republican says his vote in favor of New York’s new gun-control law was a “mistake” and is now co-sponsoring a bill to repeal it.
Freshman Sen. Phil Boyle, R-Suffolk County, issued a news release on Friday detailing his change of heart, criticizing the way the bill was rushed through the Legislature. The new law—known as the Secure Ammunition and Firearms Enforcement Act, or SAFE Act—violates the Second Amendment, Boyle claims.

Anyone who votes for these treasonous (yes, treasonous) bills is not fit to hold office and should be run out of town on a rail. Vote yes to bills like this and you become the enemy forever.....no other way to say it.

Surely there is a TEA Party member who can run against this clueless Rep. If you can’t understand the bill, check out who is supporting it. That ought to give you all the information you need.
Give him a break. A bill was rushed through in a nighttime session. He didn’t have time to read it or even think about it. He barely had enough time to vote.
