Following in fellow MSNBC co-host Chris Hayess footsteps, the networks conservative pundit S. E. Cupp has withdrawn from speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference next month over the issue of same-sex marriage and the exclusion of GOProud. Cupp announced her decision to back out on The Cycle earlier this afternoon.

Who the Hell is this woman?
She comes out of nowhere and is held up as a leader of the Conservative movement?
sounds hideous.
Look who is on it it IS hideous
Any other episodes of liberal belief you wanna get off your chest before the lightning hits?
GOProud was a one-issue organization. Not selling conservatism to homosexuals, but selling gay activism to conservatives. It was a makeover of the Log Cabin Republicans, because that group had pretty well exposed itself for what it was.
Gay marriage, gay rights, gay adoptions, criminal prosecution for saying anything negative about the gay activist movement—that’s what GOProud stood for.
And, as a Valley Girl might say, they totally took over the CPAC convention. They bused in their followers, filled the seats, flooded the hallways, and distracted attention from everything else.
Nothing conservative about them. Their sole interest was the usual one—making everyone toe the gay activist line or be condemned for homophobia.
These “Identity groups” are all about promoting their agenda while using the GOP as cover.
Looks SE’s cups don’t contain brains.
“Keep the bedroom stuff where it belongs.
CPAC should include them I think.”
Problem is they don’t keep it in the bedroom - it must be in our schools - our libraries - our churches even. And if you don’t like 24-7 homosexual fornication shoved down your throat you are branded as a “hater”.
Looks like SE’s cups don’t contain brains.
The GOP has always had gay members --- right back to the time of Abraham Lincoln, I should think. That was when people didn't turn their arousal pattern into an "issue."
So, there are gay conservatives. This is clear (at least, to me.) But GOProud is not conservative, because it consists precisely of those gays who want their private stuff to be a public issue.
Sorry Ms Cupp, but societies fail without moral fabric. This is the underlying flaw in the libertarian philosophy/ideology/religion.
You are very smart but throw it away for Crap like this!
Don't you tell me it's the "Libertarian Thing to do"
I am a Libertarian and Libertarians are about liberty for all, except with Gay Marriage you have (beyond the fact that HaShem forbids it) an infringement on the rights of the Religious institutions.
When you force the Government to force Priests/Rabbi/s etc to preform an act against their will, that is not liberty.
If two gay people truly "loved" each other than they don't need to force it down everyone else through. We had gay people in like the 1950's and they didn't need the governments approval then.
This is just another social experiment in the moral degradation of America.
She’s trying to make libs love her. The penis in face pic they circulated of her that was a photoshop put her on notice to tow the line.
If you believe CPAC should include a group of single issue homosexual activists then you don't think. You are incapable of intelligent thought.
That is like saying the Boy Scouts should include more homosexual scout masters and the Catholic Church should include more homosexual priests.
If any of these people are truly interested in conservative ideas they can attend CPAC on their own. They should not be included as a group solely to advance their homosexual agenda and attack conservatives who disagree with their agenda.
Now waiting for Sarah Elizabeth to announce what woman she wishes to marry . . .
CPAC is a conservative movement that needs a spring cleaning. Glad (forgive the pun) to see her leave. Never quite understood the enchantment with “S. E. Cupp”.
There is a list of 80 ‘Republicans’ signing a brief in support of ‘gay marriage’ posted at The Blaze...many are known sodomites, of course. CPAC is going to be real interesting this year...as for me? Constitution Party.
Does this CPAC still have the antiwar.com panel, as well as having Ron Paul winning their straw polls? If no longer, then they are indeed starting to clean house.
The constitution parted is doa.
So is the GOP.
