The Sequester is not a cut.

..but the ones who caused this mess...
...the low info, welfare "voters" do not know..
..and will not know, for they pay no attention..
&
their votes count just as much as ours.
..we will not get out of this mess for a generation unless a valid vote is tied to a lifetime of positive payments to the US Treas by the voter.
...I want what the President wants...
NO PAY, NO PLAY!
They called it the "government shutdown" that time.
Introduce uncommon terminology into the lexicon for obfuscation/elevated-importance purposes. Create a World Wrestling Federation atmosphere and amplify it without pay-per-view. Ca$h the check$. Admire the balance$. Rinse. Repeat.

Gee, Forbes just glommed on to what Rush has been saying for weeks.
Most here know this but unfortunately the opposite has already grounded itself as common knowledge amongst the low info crowd.
No representation without taxation. If you don’t have skin in the game, you shouldn’t have a say in how the game is played.
The Sky is falling! The Sky is falling!. What we really need to be worried about is about to bit us in the pants. And the MSM and the folks who live in the Beltway hope no one is watching....them. They are the ones to be feared. Fear them.
Anyone hear our side out there making every attempt to educate the dolts who are eating from the fed trough?
The local news last night was all about the pain of sequester cuts (minus weather and commercials).
They interviewed people who are going to lose their homes, firefighters that will be fired, prisons losing half of their staff, schools closing and doubling up in one building....on and on and on and on.......
I was screaming at the TV - liars and my husband tech wise the smartest man I have ever known said “how do you expect to cut $1.2 trillion dollars from this years budge and this not happen?”
I was dumb founded, at first I thought he was joking.
Then I said it is not $1.2 trillion it is $44 billion this year with half from defense.
He said “are you sure you are correct?”
He then said “but that’s a just reduction of less than 2%”.
I was very sad, if he didn’t “get it”, we really are screwed.
Nope, we just talk and gripe to ourselves.
Just skip to the we are screwed part. Idiocracy is coming to life.
I know that. You know that. John Boehner (Op-Ed) and Paul Ryan (This Week) doesn’t seem to know that.
I learned about the "baseline budgeting" scam from Rush over 15 years ago. I always thought it was something he should refresh at least once a month.
No way will the politicians dump this scam - - it's perfect for them because it allows them to talk out both sides of their mouths. If they vote for a cut in the "rate of growth", they can claim they "cut" spending. ...But spending will in fact go up (just not as much as the "baseline budget" called for) so they can also turn around and claim they didn't cut spending.
It's a brilliant scam. ...both sides of their mouths, depending on who the audience is on any particular day.
This should be a bumper sticker.
Point of clarification: for 1st qtr, is it $22 Billion, $45 Billion or $85 Billion? I heard all 3 numbers used in as many or more articles, and am totally confused.
Is there an accurate number we’re actually dealing with? Or are these just more 0scumbag/DoD/White Hut-Crib accounting tricks to confuse us all?
I’d just seen pics 6 carriers sitting idle in a port for refueling/refurb etc. Would the US Navy really put 6 carriers that close in a port, in case of an attack or terrorism? Just wondering.... (no military exp, so I don’t know.)
Is that what we’re truly down to: one carrier left in the ME’s Strait of Hormuz and the rest of the world? Holy Carp if we are!
Low Information Voter? Let's call a spade a spade.
Fifty per cent are ignorant and the other fifty per cent are plain stupid. Oh my!!!! I hope that wasn't too offensive to the morons.
It might not cut the budget, but it does cut my take home pay by 25% and the way it is being implemented makes it more difficult for me to take on a second part time job to make up the difference.
Pretty sure it's 85 B for the year... 1.2 T over 10 years.
