Happy birthday Yoko Ono. Mrs Lennon is 80-years old today.
Yoko Ono was born in Tokyo on February 18, 1933. She met John Lennon at an art exhibition in 1965. They married in 1969. It was the second marriage for John and third for Yoko.
Towards the end of The Beatles, John and Yoko formed the Plastic Ono Band. The first album was Live Peace In Toronto 1969 on The Beatles Apple label. The first single was Give Peace A Chance
The original line-up for Plastic Ono Band featured John, Yoko and Eric Clapton on guitar, Klaus Voormann on bass and Alan White on drums.

Yoko will now lead us in her lusty rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’.
Can’t believe she is 80...and yes, she DID breakup the Beatles, as well as the Lennon family.
I never did see what John saw in her. I guess love is blind.
...and deaf!
Petula Clarke is also 80 but is even a bit older as she turns 81 later this year. “Downtown” was actually listenable as opposed to that screeching drek the Ono hag turned out. Happy birthday!
John was already in a different dimension and he found a woman equal to his eccentricity.
We fans think we can control and direct the lives of other human beings light years removed from OUR realities.
My only regret is ... what if John had met Jesus and became born again ?
“Noise 11”. How appropriate.
Wow, you mean she is still alive? Boy I am getting older myself.
MomofMarine:...and deaf!
And let's not forget DUMB!
What singing talent did she ever have?
Paul has said the breakup was going to happen anyway.
the singing talent is that she married John Lennon.
79 yrs old here
Sumbitch! We’re getting old! So, John was a cougar hunter and Yoko was a cougar...before there were cougars. He’d be 72, if we hadn’t of lost him so young!
Calling it “singing” is stretching he word a bit, sort of like calling gasoline “water.”
I agree...I think that about many celebrities. When I was a child, I remember literally praying for the salvation of Bob Dylan....when he turned to Christ, I was grateful.
Dennis Leary put it best:
“What kind of country is this, where John Lennon gets six bullets in the chest, and Yoko is standing right next to him and not one f-——g bullet? Explain that to me.”
