Another journalist fell prey to a fake story on a satirical website, and reported it as news. This time, a blogger for the Washington Post reportedwronglythat Sarah Palin, the former Republican candidate for vice president who recently parted way with Fox News, had moved on to the Al-Jazeera network to reach millions of "devoutly religious people."

Idiot journo-lists don’t know the first thing about reporting.
It is like that commercial where the girl says “you can’t put anything on the Internet that isn’t true.”
Bonjoir.
Anyone fooled by BJ Obama will fall for anything.
My God...these people are stupid...
Just shows how much they live in a liberal echo chamber...
Layers and layers of fact checkers.
Palin herself entered the fray with two "boom" responses:
Hey @washingtonpost, I'm having coffee with Elvis this week. He works at the Mocha Moose in Wasilla. #suziparkerscoops #idiotmedia@suziparker Nah. Turned 'em down. Their $22 million offer was too low.... just kidding. Really. #suziparkerscoops #idiotmedia
Idiots believe what they want to believe. Mediabots would love to believe that Palin sold out her soul for money, just like al gore did.
Palin really is quite funny with some of her quips but her jokes fly over those serious-minded but mush-for-brains liberals
The only thing that could possibly make Sarah Palin scarier to the left than she already is would be skin pigment.
Well, after all, they are journalists.
And as such, they’ve passed a rigorous series of training courses in activities such as lying, altering audio and video, using MS Word to simulate 1960s typewriters, hatred for guns, etc., in order to gain the high (as in pot smoking) status of teleprompter reader.
We must bow to their superior (non) intellect.
I’m just going to bask in the amazement that a false Palin story actually got corrected/retracted for once.
Amazing how many blatantly false stories about her that the media intentionally perpetuated, and refused to correct. I’m reminded of the time way back when she resigned her governorship, some of the notoriously vile anti-Palin psycho-bloggers started up the rumor that it was because of an imminent FBI indictment. CNN, MSNBC, and even FoxNews had their on-air anchors mention about “whispers of a federal indictment...” The FBI even had to come out with a denial of the story, an almost unprecedented action on their part. The media then NEVER mentioned the FBI’s denial, nor even brought the topic up again to retract it.
It’s that constant drumbeat of false narratives that adds up to blatant character assassination.
Brain-dead liberals marching in lockstep desperately want to destroy Sarah Palin. They are also embarrassed by Al Gores sell-out to Al Jazeera so they were easy prey for being made fools of by this fake ‘news story’, replete with the kind of things they assume Palin would say. Sarah Palin’s witty response was excellent, as usual.
This would be truly funny were it not so incredibly pathetic and true.
That fake quote is hilarious
This proves that the media uses THE ONION and FACEBOOK and all other idiot web pages as sources. They were practically suicidal when MYSPACE became obsolete.
I really do think the immediate, humorous, and unrelenting mocking on Twitter forced WaPo's hand here.
“Its that constant drumbeat of false narratives that adds up to blatant character assassination”
it’s what liberals do best: demonize “the enemy” rather than debate policy. Since liberals usually lose on logic and rationality and facts they resort to caricature and demonization.
