Police say they've had enough of fights in and outside Benton Harbor High School. There were several fights again in school Monday. A 14-year-old student was arrested for bringing a knife in and making threats.
This comes just days after police say they dealt with the largest brawl they'd ever seen. More than 200 kids were involved.

Benton Harbor is a mess. Runaway crime, and a city government that has been every bit as mismanaged and corrupt as Detroit. Now this. Bleah!

Thanks for the info. I didn’t think I had had to guess it was the amish! It was a given conclusion. Lets see some folks got dissed and a spontaneous riot broke out! Typical reaction among the amish concentration. Stay far away from them.

At the rate we’re going, in a couple of years a government program to help disaffected inner city youth will have them all in spiffy new uniforms to build character by beating people for petty infractions against the state with truncheons.
That place was Harlem North back in the mid 80s.
Made the mistake of crossing the river from St. Joe and might just have well flown in to Lebenon. Nothing but boarded up shops and roving unkempt “residents”

A river seperates St. Joe from Benton Harbor. It is a clear picture of the 47% vs. the 53%ers.
I watched the video thinking someone might actually report why the kids were fighting.....crickets....

I interesting the police chief was going to start charging and fining the parents unless their kids started to behave....
Now that there is funny. Hope the Chief’s dept. Accepts EBT cards. Either that or he’ll have to confiscate skittles, Ice tea and Colt 45 Malt Liquor.
So when do the people in the Administration do something about this? Or wouldn’t that be “fair”?
