I have confirmed with a group of Congressmen that House Speaker John Boehner will not be reelected Speaker tomorrow.
He will either resign or be forced out tomorrow.
Only 17 members are needed to block Speaker Boehner's election tomorrow. A Speaker needs an absolute majority of all votes cast for a specific person.
If no one has a majority, the House is speakerless. I've confirmed these rules with the House Parliamentarian.

The qualification for the Republican Speaker of the House is someone who can go along to get along and must be able to be tricked easily by Obama.
I’m sure they will get a speaker that meets the qualifications cited above. After all, they got a real prize this last time.
No matter what they do, the republicans absolutely will not represent any conservative position or voter.

Please catch up to what’s going on. Newt has been out of favor here for about as long as Ann Coulter has.

Publically or politically Callista has no record of being anything other than a conservative.

Lastly, I am wondering where the heck it became necessary to drag one’s spouse into major national politics. First Ladies are best in a background supportive role, like Laura Bush.

We’ll know in a few hours, but unless it is a very quiet coup, Boehner will be reelected. There needs to be a visible conservative campaigning and running against Boehner and there appears to be none.

Personally, I’m more than ready for a Rambo as Speaker. I just prefer Newt’s savy, arrogance and smash mouth on the job.

I understand your reasoning, but many Constitutional scholars such as Mark Levin, as well as many before him, disagree with you. I was a rather young tyke when I first heard this discussed in the 70s, so it is certainly not a new concept.
