Aloha again Night Owl! ((HUGS))
Christmas shopping needs some fine adjustments before it's done.....but that's usually the case.
Feeling a bit better but I haven't had a cold in years. Always heard they last a week to ten days no matter what one does.

You Are a Partridge in a Pear Tree
For you, the holidays are a time of quiet reflection. You like to get some moments to yourself. You like to think about the meaning of the holidays. You tap into the spiritual side of things, even if you aren't religious.
Your holiday wish is peace on earth. You wish the world was a happier place.
You may not be able to change the world through your small actions, but you're going to try!

And a Happy Winter Holiday to you too, M-L.
I opened up my collection of politically correct Winter Holiday songs, among them, "Still in the Night", "O Come All Ye Ambivalent", and my personal favorite, "Random Chance Rest Ye Merry Gentlepersons".
Hope you're well.

No, thank goodness, the mall closes at 6pm...and I work the early shift and get off at 1:30pm. My MIL is supposed to be here, so at least I’ll be home most of the day to visit with her.

You Are Three French Hens |
For you, the holidays are a time to take care of those you're close to. You love that it's the season of giving. You are generous all times of the year, but you definitely step it up during the holidays.
Your holiday wish is for everyone to have a safe and happy holiday. It breaks your heart to think of anyone in pain during this time. You wish that you could take care of everyone in the world, but at least you're able to look after everyone you love! |

You Are Six Geese-a-Laying |
For you, the holidays are a creative and even inspired time of year. You really get into the spirit of things. Whether you're crafting homemade gifts or baking holiday treats, your hands like to stay busy.
Your holiday wish is for everyone to feel like a kid again. You hope each person experiences some holiday magic. This is your favorite season for celebrating old memories and making new ones. |

You Are Two Turtle Doves |
For you, the holidays are a time for family, friends, and most importantly, the person you love. You like to use this time of year to express your gratitude, admiration, and affection.
Your holiday wish is more love for everyone. You believe there's too much hate in the world. You try to be easy on people, especially during the holidays. You try your best to keep the peace. |

In the song, Christ is symbolically presented as a mother partridge which feigns injury to decoy predators from her helpless nestlings, much in memory of the expression of Christ's sadness over the fate of Jerusalem: "Jerusalem! Jerusalem! How often would I have sheltered thee under my wings, as a hen does her chicks, but thou wouldst not have it so..." The other symbols mean the following:
2 Turtle Doves = The Old and New Testaments
3 French Hens = Faith, Hope and Charity, the Theological Virtues
4 Calling Birds = the Four Gospels and/or the Four Evangelists
5 Golden Rings = The first Five Books of the Old Testament, the "Pentateuch", which gives the history of man's fall from grace.
6 Geese A-laying = the six days of creation
7 Swans A-swimming = the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit, the seven sacraments
8 Maids A-milking = the eight beatitudes
9 Ladies Dancing = the nine Fruits of the Holy Spirit
10 Lords A-leaping = the ten commandments
11 Pipers Piping = the eleven faithful apostles
12 Drummers Drumming = the twelve points of doctrine in the Apostle's Creed
