I was reading somewhere recently that arrests, imprisonment and murder of journalists is at record levels throughout the world. Apparently there are some newspapers in Mexico where reporters’ stories aren’t even run with bylines because so many of them are getting murdered by drug cartels. The real reporters — those who go out in the field to actually investigate compelling issues (unlike those jokers who read teleprompters in studios)— are real heroes. Prayers that this guy gets back safely.

In all due respect Jeff did convert to Christianity and was baptized before he was murdered.
