To anyone who may be persuaded that “a national conversation” on guns and violence in society is needed, rather than automatically accepting the assumptions of those who think it ought to begin with calling for more citizen disarmament edicts, answer one question first:
If you saw someone methodically murdering children and you could get your hands on a gun, would you use it to stop him?
Yes or no? There’s no time for equivocation. Every second you hesitate, another innocent is being slaughtered.
If you answered “no,” you’re an irredeemable coward, unfit for the company of free men and women, and deserving of the slavery you accept and would impose on your betters. We will hold no conversation with despicable domestic enemy wretches the likes of you. Go away, leave us alone, or bring it on. We will not disarm.
If you answered “yes,” then ask yourself since when it’s in anyone’s interests to bare his throat to someone who would slash it? And just as being armed, trained, prepared and willing can discourage an individual aggressor, do they also not, as Thomas Paine observed, “keep the invader and plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property”? Would not “horrid mischief … ensue were the law-abiding deprived of the use of them”?

I’m glad I don’t have to worry about that. They won’t disarm me while I am alive, and after I am dead, I won’t care.
This country is barely recognizable from the one I grew up in. It is a veritable police state.
Can you imagine a couple of kids with .22’s going down the road on their bikes to shoot. My buddy had a Remington bolt action and I had an H&R semi-auto with a 10 round mag. In a few years we were shooting my dad’s 8mm Mauser K98k and my buddies dad’s O/U Winchester....still riding our bikes to our favorite shooting spot.
As we grew into teenagers we would get a couple of sixer’s of beer and a pack of Winston’s. never had a problem. Now..imagine an 18 year old with a six-pack of beer, a pack of cigarettes and an 8mm Mauser in the rack of his truck. SWAT would have him surrounded and he would die.
I do think that the DREAM act is part of their attempt to disarm us. They will through executive order declare all semi-auto’s illegal and they will demand that they be turned in. When compliance is zero they will begin the house to house using the foreigners enlisted through the DREAM act. I will have no compunction about shooting them nor will I surrender my AR’s to them
The conversation should be about Yankeeland, the NorthEast liberal hell hole. Should the northeast states remain in the union or should they be purged...... that should be the question.
There is nothing good there only absess and decay. The founding principles have been trashed and disposed. The Yankee states no longer resemble the vast interior and being more populous have dragged the nation ever downward.
Rather than worry ad nauseam about guns, the worry in Connecticut should be will the rest of the nation tolerate our disgusting liberal destruction of the Republic.
Perhaps that is why the self hating Whites and Blacks with a slave mentality worship the ground he [obama ]stands on.

I responded to this pic on another post and confirmed, perhaps, from numerous replies that she is carrying something akin to an old .30 carbine.
Question: Wouldn’t it be more practical for them to open carry full size hi cap handguns, like a Jericho 941 in 9mm perhaps(built in Israel), or are the problems in Israel so critical they literally need fighting carbines for firepower?

The Second amendment speaks of an individual’s right to keep and bear arms. Are you saying that you believe that all individuals have a right to keep and bear all arms, with no limitations whatsoever, so long as they can afford them?

Exactly I am so sick of cowards saying crap like I lost all my guns in the lake or some other weak minded dribble. I am saying it LOUD PUBIC AND CLEAR I own over 25 firearms in 3 secure locations. I will SHOOT AND KILL anyone who comes for them regardless of what color the costume they happen to be in. I am a trained sniper with 11 years military experience and will shoot from a distance anyone who comes for my guns and keep shooting till one of three things happens I run out of ammo not likely I have tens of thousands of rounds, two they are all dead and send no more jackboots or three they get a counter-sniper who is as skilled as i am and gets a lucky shot off. I am so sick of cowards stand up and declare to the world we will not be turned in to subjects or slaves I will KILL without hesitation for my liberty end of discussion.

I too, am sick of the doom and gloomers demoralizing our community with their constant dramas about succumbing to the enemy. In wartime, such people are quickly removed from circulation with the rest of the troops. Whether they know it or not, their constant moaning that, "It's over - we're finished", etc., truly does have a powerful effect on group morale.
The enemy never had a friend such as them. They're ten times more effective than avowed and knowing opponents.
FRiend, freedom isn't about waiting for the SCOTUS to tell us what we can and cannot do. Freedom is doing it.
I will not relinquish my guns.
We all have to push, letters to the Editor, Letters to Congress, and even deluge the White House with a call to end the insanity of "gun free" zones which we are required to send our children into to be potential targets for lunatics for 180+ days a year.
When Israel's school children were threatened, they armed the staff at the schools. Allow teachers to make that choice for themselves, allow all the staff at schools to do so, and leave the firearms of the law-abiding alone.
The Left claims a 'freedom of choice' to murder babies. We want the freedom of choice to save them.
Imagine the impact of signs on every door which said "The staff at this school are armed. Any attempt to harm anyone on these premises may be met with lethal force. Please conduct yourself accordingly."
