State police are responding to a report of a shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School on Dickinson Drive, school officials said.
Police are reporting a number of injured parties. The nature of their injuries is not clear.

Most folks at my church dress pretty casual. People occasionally ask me why I wear a suit coat to church. I just shrug. No sense getting people worked up.
The ‘50s have been the whipping boy for liberals ever since ‘60s commits took over and got their mindset front and center.
Basically the ‘50s were only the last age of civility, after which only vestiges remained.
I thank God I was raised by “children of the ‘50s”. My mother lived IN Baltimore and loved it. She road trolleys as a 6yo by herself - she said people were both decent AND looked out for each other. They’d get involved if a stranger seemed in trouble. Instead of the “don’t talk to strangers” callous cowardice promulgated most of my life.
And liberals say they’re so caring.
The reporting is all over the map. Another report says Adam was developmentally disabled.
Like someone else said...mass hysteria. The media has been pathetic today IMHO.
how about getting to grips parents which do not bring their kids up as they should and how about having families like we did decades ago like in the 50’s.
I’m sick of hearing already about guns, it;s the failed social policies of the left which has created this mess and kids which have big mental problems.
Instead of telling these kids they can be different how about telling them to fit in, instead of kids walking around at age 12 saying he;s a homosexual how about telling him to shut the hell up, how about telling kids about respect and hard work.?
Nah this will not be mentioned because most in the media do not raise their kids, they get nannies, dog walkers instead of the kdis walking the dog, they get cleaners instead of telling the kids to tidy up after them, they go out to eat nearly every night instead of teaching kids how to cook and clean up after them.
Early on an ?officer? reported the media were being blocked from approaching Ryan’s house from all access points.

Another pattern could be that the media sensationalizes the infamous exploits of young white males.

There’s a dead body at Nancy’s home, and one at Ryan’s place in NJ.
“No. Brother Ryan is in custody. He was captured in the woods near the school.”

Kinda (but not too) simplistic ... while ‘drugging’ young males with supposed ‘ADD’ symptoms might be a factor there are other societal factors I think play a bigger part, esp for someone that might have some developmental issues ...

True. Outside of him taking advantage of the situation to telegraph moves on gun control, I won’t criticize his verbiage. I’m not even sure what I would say under such circumstances.
I would likely try to avoid addressing every event those kids will miss out on. There are a lot of people out there hurting over this, and a good leader wouldn’t try to wrench every tear out of them that he could.
People need to be comforted, and strengthened during a time of loss like this.
Obama’s team couldn’t seem to grasp that, for what it’s worth.
