Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis - That's Amore
Words and Music by Harry Warren and Jack Brooks
(In Napoli where love is King, when boy meets girl, here's what they say)
When the moon hits your eye like a big-a pizza pie That's amore When the world seems to shine like you've had too much wine That's amore
Bells'll ring ting-a-ling-a-ling, ting-a-ling-a-ling And you'll sing "Vita bella" Hearts'll play tippi-tippi-tay, tippi-tippi-tay Like a gay tarantella
When the stars make you drool joost-a like pasta fazool That's amore When you dance down the street with a cloud at your feet, you're in love When you walk in a dream but you know you're not dreamin', signore 'scusa me, but you see, back in old Napoli, that's amore
(When the moon hits your eye like a big-a pizza pie, that's amore) That's amore (When the world seems to shine like you've had too much wine, that's amore) That's amore

Outstanding, Maestro! Over twenty years ago when I was singing with the Oratorio Society of Washington, we sang an excellent Rutter piece as part of our Christmas Concert - the name escapes me at the moment but over twenty years later I still remember the the wonderful rhythms and sonorities - and of course the fortissimo high B Natural in the Tenor part. Great stuff!

Good evening, ML!
*HUGS*
I've seen a few of Shakespeare's plays set in in modern times. I'm not all enthusiastic about it myself, but chacon a son gout!
I viewed the blood fest "Titus Andronicus" in my senior year of high school. It was set in the 20th Century with the opposing parties being garbed as German Nazis and Italian Fascisti. Very intense and disturbing.

Did you happen to catch Ian McKellan’s “Richard III” set in the 1930’s? Great film.
