Nations in the Middle East, some of whom were once allies of the U.S., appear to be defying America. This is very evident when reviewing the events over the past six months in Libya, Syria, Egypt, and Iraq, and also among the Palestinians. As former Vice President Dick Cheney stated, "[o]ur allies no longer trust us, or have confidence in us, and our adversaries no longer fear us." The problem is also that America's allies in the region are dwindling while its adversaries are increasing. American Thinker interviewed experts to get their opinion about this very important issue.
In Iraq, the government has ignored entreaties from the Obama administration and has freed a top Hezb'allah operative accused of murdering American soldiers. This was after Vice President Joe Biden phoned Prime Minister Maliki on November 13, urging him to hold the terrorist Ali Musa Daqduq accountable for his crimes. Also, earlier this month it was reported by U.S. officials that Iraq has allowed Iran to use Iraqi airspace to fly military personnel and weapons to Syria in civilian aircraft.
In Egypt, the day after Secretary of State Hillary Clinton visited Egyptian President Morsi, Morsi instituted a power-grab. He issued decrees giving himself broad powers by effectively weakening the judiciary, and he pushed through a draft of the new constitution in just twenty-one hours. This draft basically sets Morsi up to become a dictator through several articles that will restrict the rights of women and minorities. Liberals, Coptic Christians, and women walked out as this constitution was drafted, and members of all of these groups have been demonstrating ever since. At a meeting to discuss the situation, there was only one liberal opposition politician who attended, while the other eight delegates were Islamists...

The result? Most of the people in those countries hate the US anyway.
Obama sits back and the forces he prefers take over Libya, Egypt, and soon Syria, at minimal cost in American lives (four dead in Benghazi). The media doesn't question his handling of the developments in the Middle East. If US interests start being affected in an obvious way that the media can't ignore, they will find someone else to blame.
It seems like it is all going according to plan for Obama.
Eve Of Destruction

The eastern world, it is exploding
Violence flarin, bullets loadin
Youre old enough to kill, but not for votin
You dont believe in war, but whats that gun youre totin
And even the Jordan River has bodies floatin
But you tell me
Over and over and over again, my friend
Ah, you dont believe
Were on the eve
Of destruction.
Dont you understand what Im tryin to say
Cant you feel the fears Im feelin today?
If the button is pushed, theres no runnin away
Therell be no one to save, with the world in a grave
[Take a look around ya boy, it’s bound to scare ya boy]
And you tell me
Over and over and over again, my friend
Ah, you dont believe
Were on the eve
Of destruction.
Yeah, my bloods so mad feels like coagulatin
Im sitting here just contemplatin
I cant twist the truth, it knows no regulation.
Handful of senators dont pass legislation
And marches alone cant bring integration
When human respect is disintegratin
This whole crazy world is just too frustratin
And you tell me
Over and over and over again, my friend
Ah, you dont believe
Were on the eve
Of destruction.
Think of all the hate there is in Red China
Then take a look around to Selma, Alabama
You may leave here for 4 days in space
But when you return, its the same old place
The poundin of the drums, the pride and disgrace
You can bury your dead, but dont leave a trace
Hate your next-door neighbor, but dont forget to say grace
And
tell me over and over and over and over again, my friend
You dont believe
Were on the eve
Of destruction
Mm, no no, you dont believe
Were on the eve
Of destruction.

Anyone wanting on or off this ping list, please advise.
Amen to that.
“Anyone who really believes the SOB has Americas best interest at heart has got to be several bricks short of a load.”

There seem to be quite a few Americans who could use a few more bricks. Clear headed thinkers seem to be in rather short supply in my experience.
Right. Bamster is behind the “arab spring” islamist explosion. He gave them the bomb material.
Check the golf course or put out an APB for airforce 1 at destination resorts around the world
Great one! Posted on my Facebook.
He lit the fuse.
An afterthought. Obama's extracurricular project. Icing on the cake.
Hussein was able to light the fire. That’s just what he wanted. Now, he’s doing his best to light the fire in the US. He would like nothing better than to use the martial law powers he has written for himself on anyone who disagrees with him.
But putting one's 'nose into another country's business' doesn't necessarily mean going to war. Our president needs to deal shrewdly with other countries and strictly in this country's interests. Not necessarily altruistically Bush-style, which is a huge mistake, IMO.
On the other hand Obama is the opposite of a 'new world order' busibody. He's a foreign policy dilettante, sticking his nose in other countries business purposely at the expense of our interests.
***** “Many may disagree with me, but our presidents (all) should keep their nose out of other country business. Don’t need to kill our solders on other peoples political problems. Should also cut all spending on foreign aid to all countries.” ******
Just a name, Hugo Chavez
