Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence voted the 'world's most desirable woman'

Jennifer Lawrence has been voted the world's most desirable woman.

The 22-year-old The Hunger Games star has been awarded the title in a new international poll released on Thursday by online men's magazine AskMen.com after winning over the majority of the 2.4 million voters with her down-to-earth attitude.

Editor-In Chief James Bassil said: 'Overall, there's a sense that she's a little more authentic than other actors.

'She's fresh because we haven't seen her all over the gossip pages for the past three or four years.'

The blonde beauty was followed in the top five by actress Mila Kunis, model Kate Upton, Rihanna and actress Emma Stone.

Last year's winner 'Modern Family' star Sofia Vergara slipped to 12th place.

Other well known names to make the list included a number of beauties over the age of 40 including US First Lady Michelle Obama, 48, comedian Sarah Silverman, 42, and British actress Rachel Weisz, 42.

Jennifer has been dating British actor Nicholas Hoult, 22, since they met on the set of 2011's 'X-Men: First Class' and she doesn't want them to become a celebrity couple.

Jennifer previously said: 'You don't want your relationship to be in the press, but at the same time - and this is only a theory - the more you try and keep it secret, the more the media tries to crack it open. Maybe there's less pressure if you admit you are dating. Admitting that is just an experiment. I'm going to see how it goes.'

Ouch! As a photographer (amateur), I would have left that one on the cutting room floor.

Here we go, just in case some folks felt their secret desires were being left out...

“...ifn maryann and ginger were both “munchers”...”

If they were, man, I’d WATCH!!!!!!!!! Hahahah!!!

Mrs. Howell.....BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

There was nothing - N-O-T-H-I-N-G - remotely sexual about “Lovey”.

Maryanne was sexy cute; Ginger was sultry hot...Loved the red hair too.

You can say that again, Mr. K...

Raquel was and still is just simply amazing.

I always liked Marilyn Monroe too, but she had already passed away by the time I was noticing women...

But man, she was a looker too. Just pure sensuality... even though I’m not into the “ditzy blonde” I always thought she had THE ideal figure...

Cute pic.

There’s ALWAYS something attractive about women who love the outdoor sports, fishing, shooting, hunting.

“...Botox bloom makes women look so young and attractive...”

I NEVER understood injecting botulinin (a pretty nasty toxin) into the body. People are idiots to do so.

“..look at Goldie Hawn...”
Geez...what a damned shame. She was a beautiful kid back in the day. Hell I remember her from “Laugh-In” back in the late 60s. I think time and age caught up too, and maybe some hard partying (not being disrespectful to her - sometimes, those factors don’t jell too well after the years go by).

RE :”Again, the Nordic Ice Princess....you like them blondies, dontcha? :^) Yvette Mimieux, maybe? Remember her?”

The classic 1960 sci-fi The Time Machine. Yvette Mimieux as Weena.
I watched it many times as a kid-teen and still watch it every 10 years or so as an adult.
The very beautiful, feminine, dumb, agreeable and submissive blond. And what could she break by mistake in that time?

Who would stay in 1895 (in the movie) when you could be in future earth with a loving young submissive babe like her and be King of the planet?

This was my thinking watching the movie as a teen anyway. This captures it:

If you recall Carol Lynley played a very similar role in the 1973 Poseidon Adventure.
Another dumb submission beauty (blond) who falls for the 'never had a date in HIS life' Red Buttons JUST because he was in the right place at the right time to save her.

I had to look that up. I looked at the picture and I’m not sure. You put a thought in my head, and now I’m looking for it.
