NEW YORK Storage Wars may have a real war brewing with one of its stars.
Dave Hester , one of the shows cast members, has filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against the show, according to RadarOnline.
In his lawsuit, Hester is claiming the series is fake, and he says when he made complaints to the network about the staged portions of the show he was fired, Radar reported.

But “Lynch 4 Hire” is awesome.
Next thing to shock us all will be the fact that everything in Washington is B.S.
given the number of laws that are violated on the towing shows and the fact the tow drivers and company owners are not bankrupt and in jail, I would say yes they are all fake.
His arrogance (whether real, or portrayed) was more or less evident in every appearance, and the female (Brandi) was ogled by all, and his obvious lust for her showed his true colors.
Over-valuing the objects purchased made him the usual "winner" in the auction results, but I believe that ALL the valuations on the garage-sale quality items was over-blown.
"I want my ham sammits!!!"
Yeah, like they just happen to find thousands of dollars behind a picture frame while on camera. I watched for a while then it got old.
I managed a self storage facility for a couple of years. The stuff that was abandoned was garbage, and didn’t even rise to the level of “junk”. The owner figured out that it wasn’t worth the time and effort to set up sales, so when a unit was abandoned, I just cleaned it out and threw the contents away.
Way to go...how do you know there wasn't some mint condition Picasso original tucked away under the cushions of that ratty old couch you tossed????
“Next hell be saying that wrestling is fake.”
I worked on the set of the Wrestler’ with Mickey Rourke. The wrestling is real, but it’s scripted. People don’t realize the WWE stages house shows 3 times a week which are not broadcast and they keep in shape, just like any athlete and I LOL now when I tell them “you think that’s a fake steel chair they hit you over the head with?” Think again. that’s an actual steel chair.
I miss Dave Hester. I blame the scope mounts.
Sure Dave, we always believed that out of crowd of 20 or 30 people, the same half dozen personalities secured the winning bids, each time.
And of course we accepted the dollar values the prevailing bidder placed on the items in the locker.
Dave, I seem to recall that in the build up for the new season, you admitted to having to sell your prime store and downsize, because you weren’t doing so well....
What have they done that's bad exactly?
I know it’s fake. I’ve known it since day one. I watch it anyway.
“Wait...you mean those guys on Pawn Stars dont really buy genuine samurai swords made by a 16th century master swordsmith and engraved with the Tokugawa seal for a couple of hundred bucks???”
Even after the seller hears an expert say its worth $5000.
All of those auction/pawn/trailer trash in the woods doing something crazy shows are fake!
All except Duck Dynasty! I love Duck Dynasty!
Hahahaha!!!!
Early in the series he mentioned that he had been arrested for something and done community service at the Salvation Army store or Goodwill. Doesn’t sound like a felony but he may not be able to possess guns.

Like it makes sense to abandon a storage locker with $8000 worth of equipment rather than pay the storage fee or removing the valuable items first.
Duck Dynasty is one of the few family friendly reality shows around. You can actually let the kiddies watch this show unsupervised.
Drama, minor conflict, resolution, and everyone together again at the end, with a moral to the story (and prayer!)
Love this show (and the Robertson family)!
