NEW YORK Storage Wars may have a real war brewing with one of its stars.
Dave Hester , one of the shows cast members, has filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against the show, according to RadarOnline.
In his lawsuit, Hester is claiming the series is fake, and he says when he made complaints to the network about the staged portions of the show he was fired, Radar reported.

She and her Husband have a couple of kids. They get paid for appearing on the show and they run their Second Hand shop in Fullerton.
They also sell a line of designer shirts that you see her Husband wearing on all the shows.
As far as I’m concerned, good for them and their Family. They are working hard and making a living, not collecting Welfare.
You don't say. I think I'll stick with Jim Robinson's interpretation of what Free Republic is, if you don't mind.
I'll thank you not to come in here and attempt to demote this community to some lesser standard to which you may be accustomed.
If you've been reading here as long as you claim, then you wouldn't have stepped in it with Las Vegas Ron like you did, and would already know that you're on virtual probation here.
Tell you another thing, friend. No one buys the claim that you've been lurking here for twelve years. The only people who watch this place without participating for that long, are political/gov't operatives. You might want to reconsider using that as a bragging point.
I didnt start anything. I was minding my own business and LVR got contentious with me for no reason. I gave back in kind. It was over. Then you come along and start it up again. YOU are the aggressor here, not me. I just give back what I get.
“You don’t say. I think I’ll stick with Jim Robinson’s interpretation of what Free Republic is, if you don’t mind.”
I agree with what was in the link, but what the heck does that have to do with what we are talking about? What did I say that didnt agree with it? If it said something about requiring formal spelling and grammar I missed it.
“I’ll thank you not to come in here and attempt to demote this community to some lesser standard to which you may be accustomed.”
Yet another uncalled for insult. I dont know who the heck you think you are but I’m guessing you don’t work in public relations. You keep playing self appointed hall monitor, I’m just going to ignore you.
Roger that.
LOL...if you think my posts to you were contentious you better grow some thicker skin "FRiend"
BTW, when mentioning other FReepers in posts it is considered proper FR etiquette to ping them, since you claim to have been lurking here for so long, I guess you knew that.
Right?
Listen, bud. You signed up just weeks (or is it days) ago, and right off the bat, you start poking the regulars with a sharp stick. That sort of behavior doesn't go down real well in your local bar, and it doesn't go down well on long established internet forums.
As someone who's supposedly been lurking here for twelve long years, I'd think you'd be well aware of that, but I think we both know that you know this community about as well as you know the workings of Valerie Jarrett's inner circle. Or do you?
As far as not being the aggressor here, you most certainly are. You covertly called Las Vegas Ron a "pedantic twerp" for correcting your spelling, which is why I responded to that little bitch slap in the first place. And for what it's worth, I just looked at his original post to you, and it wasn't aggressive in the least. You need to grow a bit of hide if you want to hang out here.
You could have thanked him for the correction and moved on, but you had to take it personally. Do what you like, but I can tell you that you're gonna have a bad experience here if you keep up that attitude.
Hasta...
Right?
I think it's still pretty funny that some folks think they can come in here and fool us knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathing Freepers, don't you? LOL
Much like the masked wrestlers, most all these types of shows are phoney, rehearsed and choreographed. This would include CNN, FOX, etc.
As the audience of fools gawk and applaud.
I watch some rednecks who owned some kind of duck biz, and after about 2 minutes, my brain started shrinking.
You’d have to be drooling in a cup to follow this cheet.
Yes, but not for the prices they want. There is a pretty reasonably sized market for old advertising memorabilia.
Are you a dealer or collector? Do you buy them to decorate your home or your business?
“I was watching an old episode of Pawn Stars the other day and Rick Dales brother Ron Dale brought an old Coke machine into the pawn shop and sold it to Rick Harrison. Later, Rick took that same Coke machine to Restorations By Rick for restoration.”
You didn’t mention the best part of that one: When he went back and picked up the “restored” coke machine, it was not only a different model, it was from a different manufacturer all together. I damn near died laughing.
Heck ya!
Besides, it's fun slapping smart a$$ m00bs around, kind of breaks up the depressing news!
m00bs = n00bs
LOL!
Surprised he didn’t see that coming. When I watched the first show I told hubby those people better be getting paid quite a bit because everyone would start going to the storage auctions thinking it was a quick way to riches.
What gets me about the Pickers is even using their prices for what things will eventually bring, they don’t even begin to pay for their fuel much less any profit.
unless this is a PR stunt suit.
Could be, but how would that improve the show's ratings or following among the fans? It would be a huge mistake on the producers' part.
The Pickers is a joke.
They don’t go anywhere that isn’t scouted for them in advance.
