Vanity: How did Obama get elected in the first place?

So how did we get here? How did Barack Obama, a relative unknown get elected to the Presidency of the United States? With much of the public not knowing who he is, where he was born. Almost nothing of his background was investigated.

Besides election fraud, I think you have to look way back from 2004 to 2006 to see how we headed down this road. Starting in 2004 George Bush was re-elected on the heels of an early Iraq effort.

But that effort soon became another Vietnam, at least in the media, as Americans were faced with daily and sometimes hourly reports of US Soldiers being killed by bombings and terrorist attacks in Iraq.

Bush's popularity began to wane. High approval numbers in the 60's and 70's soon bottomed out into the 40's and below. By 2006 Bush had been so demonized by the media that Democrats were able to gain control of the House and Senate.

With the Democrats now in control of both chambers they went to work right away. Barney Frank became Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee.

Frank began pushing for banks to give home loans to almost anyone. Michael Bloomberg, as much as many of us don't like him, makes a good point in this article below.

"But they (Congress) were the ones who pushed Fannie and Freddie to make a bunch of loans that were imprudent, if you will. They were the ones that pushed the banks to loan to everybody. And now we want to go vilify the banks because it's one target, it's easy to blame them and congress certainly isn't going to blame themselves. At the same time, Congress is trying to pressure banks to loosen their lending standards to make more loans. This is exactly the same speech they criticized them for."

Frank said at the time it was the American dream for people to own homes and banks should make it super easy for everyone to get loans.

Problem is after a few years many people could not afford those loans and the bottom dropped out. Causing the home mortgage crisis.

"The fall of housing prices from peak levels reached earlier this decade cut deeply into home building and home purchases. This also caused a sharp rise in mortgage foreclosures, which in turn resulted in losses of hundreds of billions of dollars among the nation's leading banks and a tightening of credit."

During this time the price of oil began to skyrocket as well.


"In 2008, the price of oil went ballistic, but the U.S. was already in a recession [it began in Dec. 2007]. There was no rational reason oil should have gone ballistic. The Fed’s easy money just fueled a bubble. It was like a $500 billion tax on consumers courtesy of the Fed. That’s the added amount that it cost you, and it helped push consumers over a cliff in late 2008."

During the election of 2008 this is why you heard Sarah Palin constantly saying "Drill baby drill". But the press was more focused on demonizing her than what she was actually saying.

So by 2007 the economy was in free fall due to the home mortgage crisis and skyrocketing gas prices. Both of which, if you remember, were blamed on Bush at the time.

Plus there was still the shadow of a failing Iraq war effort. All of the problems were blamed on Bush, whether they were his fault or not.

Democrats blamed Bush for everything.

He was so demonized that he barely even showed his face during the 2008 campaign. Bush refused to fight back againt Democrats and a press that slandered him.

Democrats beat into the American people's brains that Bush was responsible for the free falling economy and problems overseas. As if they hadn't been in power at all!

Obama, riding on a wave of anger against Republicans at the time won the presidency based on hope and change.

So recapping here, the villains are.

The American Media - for making it possible for Democrats to continually blame Republicans even when they're not in power! That continues today.

The Democrats and Barney Frank for helping cause the home mortgage crisis which sent the economy into a free fall.

And the Republicans such as George Bush, for allowing themselves to be defined and blamed for problems not of their own making.

And by the way that continues today. The Republicans only control the House, but a recent poll taken said most people would still blame Republicans if taxes go up.

Why you ask? The Media tells them who to blame.

Why was Obama elected in the first place?

1. His race
2. A media that ignored anything about his background and virtually campaigned for him
3. A wishy-washy RINO John McCain as the GOP candidate. Ditto for Romney
4. An electorate that had been propagandized to believe that everything bad starting with the bombing of Pearl Harbor was George Bush's fault.

The bill is about insourcing. The bill allows foreign nationals to take jobs in America. You don’t have to ship the job out of the country when you can bring a foreign national in to take it for less than an American would be paid.

The short answer to your question is: your and everyone else’s obsession with Leon Trotsky’s little invention that unites in a Kumbaya dance FR with DU, the invention called “racism”, that destroyed Detroit, Rhodesia, sends trillions of $$ to the hopeless and barbaric continent of Africa, and in a spawned disease of guilt killed (by suicide) the career of Bill Gates, among other great achievements. In 2008 Michael Vicks or Barry Bonds could have won the presidential election for the very same reasons, had he run.

Paul Craig Roberts has been writing that the loss of the manufacturing industry and its jobs is the elephant in the room that the Republicans have been ignoring at their own peril.

We could not dismantle American manufacturing the way that we have without doing serious damage to the American economy. The housing bubble and vast increases in personal debt hid the underlying rot for over a decade, but now it is making its presence felt.

Roberts is an economist who was one of the architects of the supply side revolution back when Jimmy Carter was still President. Roberts advised Kemp and the House Republicans who began writing the supply side policies that Reagan used as a basis of his program. Roberts has a history of being ahead of the curve on economic issues. And the issue of American jobs and manufacturing will prove to be one more instance of that.

The media is not a new enemy.

I agree, they are not a new enemy.

This wasn’t worse than what they did to Reagan.

And Reagan knew how to effectively do battle with them. Today we have no "Reagan". But it is critical to find a way to beat them back. I believe conservatism is doomed unless we can find a way to battle them effectively.

Also, during that time, we were all generally united against the concepts of socialism. Regardless of our political differences, we had a common hatred of the ideology of the USSR.

We have been conditioned to accept socialism in small incremental doses. To a point where many no longer remember how important it was to stand against the soviets and their evil ideology.

We are also a much dumber and less moral society than we were then. I believe media and entertainment have played a central role in this decline. We are therefore more susceptible to buying into their crap.

I really believe that no philosophy, no correct arguments, and no reasoning can bring us back without taking on the media and entertainment industries head on.

Americans have to compete in a globalized world. Period. Get used to it. It is also a GOOD thing for US consumers that we now have so many more choices and no longer are forced to buy, for example, crappy union automobiles from the Detroit big 3. Bloated, backward unions and progressive government is what makes it so hard for the United States to compete properly. This is why so many more jobs than need be fled the USA. We can grow our manufacturing base by diminishing the strength of unions, cutting corporate taxes, cutting regulations, etc, etc.

Can't you just imagine the above was the scene with Obama and his Commie staff after stealing the election through voter fraud- while Conservatives blame Romney, argue, point fingers, blather on about who to run in four years, 'starting a new party', and try to figure out how to suck up to minorities the 'next time'?

Next time? What makes you think the massive voter fraud in this last farce of an election won't be repeated? If we don't clean up our voting system, there may not be a next time. We may not see another Republican president in our lifetime

What most refuse to acknowledge is that it was unlikely that ANYBODY could have beaten the voter fraud planned and perpetrated by the Obama machine. They seem to prefer pointing fingers, blaming Romney and blathering on about who to run in 2016 and how to suck up to the minorities.

So how did Romney lose a race that numerous reputable polls and pundits predicted would be an easy win, based on historical patterns?

Massive voter fraud.

That and no other reason

Almost every major Conservative website has put out an article charging voter fraud- Breitbart, American Thinker, Atlas Shrugs, WND, The Blaze, Front Page Magazine, Fox News, The Daily Caller, Town Hall, Human Events, Canada Free Press...

We can not wait for 2014 and 2016 to regroup and figure out new strategies. By then it will be too late. The Marxist/Muslim usurper will have completed his planned distruction of America. That's what people fail to understand.

We must act NOW.

Start with the election. If we let the Rats get away with this massive voter fraud, we're no better than a bananna republic.

We must keep digging and pounding him every day, in every way we can- phony birth certificate, Benghazi, Fast and Furious, his hidden life, records....

I wouldn’t agree entirely with that. Lyndon Johnson was probably the last Democratic President in that mold. The New Left attacked that old half-baked socialist as viciously as they went after Republicans, and they began their grab for control of the Democratic Party when they drove him from seeking a second term.

Well Breitbart had the right idea, as did Reed Irvine and Brent Bozell before him. Breitbart’s operation continues but it’s small. The entertainment industry has a vast effect on American perceptions, much more so than reasoned arguments that reach a tiny few interested in politics.

This is a culturally cruder era than what we had as recently as Reagan’s Presidency. A libertarian streak in the GOP joined with the cultural anarchy on the Left to unload that gift on the country. Those of us who remember the 1950s and early 60s can recall an era that was more civil in many ways.

And we have certainly been importing a low IQ population from the third world. The usual gang of California bashers need to pay attention to that, it’s at the root of California’s demise. And what starts here has a way of spreading across the rest of the country.
