The media is not a new enemy.

I agree, they are not a new enemy.

This wasn’t worse than what they did to Reagan.

And Reagan knew how to effectively do battle with them. Today we have no "Reagan". But it is critical to find a way to beat them back. I believe conservatism is doomed unless we can find a way to battle them effectively.

Also, during that time, we were all generally united against the concepts of socialism. Regardless of our political differences, we had a common hatred of the ideology of the USSR.

We have been conditioned to accept socialism in small incremental doses. To a point where many no longer remember how important it was to stand against the soviets and their evil ideology.

We are also a much dumber and less moral society than we were then. I believe media and entertainment have played a central role in this decline. We are therefore more susceptible to buying into their crap.

I really believe that no philosophy, no correct arguments, and no reasoning can bring us back without taking on the media and entertainment industries head on.
