pass the bill with permanent Bush tax cuts for all, and go home.
Uh...last time I checked we don’t hold popular vote elections. And that does mean the vote rests on the electoral college results which were a mandate. /sarc
It’s worse than that...150 million eligible voters did NOT cast a vote for Zero...a clear majority.
This election was stolen.
If American's don't rise up against this travesty of justice...we can kiss our freedom goodbye.
Folks on FR have even said "we are inviting trouble to criticize Obama's victory."
Then let's invite trouble...eh?
>> When 60 million people vote against you and everything you stand for
Exactly.
Mandate talk was retarded 12 years ago and it’s still retarded. He won, that’s a mandate. Of course our various lower level winners also have a mandate. All winners have a mandate, that’s the nature of winning.
The Gelding Old Party never cut one dollar of spending. They cut the rate of spending. The geldings also raised the debt limit. The geldings are Rat lite. Half the taxes, same full spending.
I don't think this means what you think it means.
Which "Principle" was Romney (and which Romney) standing on: pro-life (not so much as Gov. Romney, RINO-MA), tax (again, not so much as Gov.), etc., etc.,
A candidate who cannot appeal to the base and has been running for 6 years yet can't frame the debate to hang the economy on the incumbent - there's your bottom line.
I do have to ask, in the name of intellectual honesty... if the numbers had been exactly reversed, how many on our side would be claiming a “landslide” and mandate?
It was a close election. The other side won. How we deal with now determines what happens in 2016.
I mean I have no love for Obama, but the talking heads on Fox were predicting a “landslide” for our side that was in the end smaller than the electoral returns for theirs.... I can’t abide the whining, teams that win take each loss, don’t do this stupid denial act ‘They Stole it... whaaa whaaa whaaa, which we mocked in 2000 and 2004’ and figure out what to do differently next time.
Count so far Obama 65,237,610 (50.93%), Romney 60,635,398
(47.33%)
Obama beat Romney by about 5 million votes, not 3 million.
Yes there was voter fraud but let's be honest.
Many Christians were not going to vote for a mormon, especially one who was not solidly pro-life and the Tea Party was not going to vote for a liberal.
Case closed.
