The defamation may not have been for ratings. It may have been for political purposes.

Zimmerman may have a target rich environment for lawsuits after he gets acquitted.

I’m thinking Zimmerman has got good cases against the shakedown artists Jackson and Sharpton after he wins in criminal court. It would be what goes around comes around against those two.

Zimmerman's suit should include us.. a separate suit perhaps.
I posted this reply at the time..
We are all affected by matters of race relations so the MSM's patented NBC-style cherry-bomb journalism hurts us all. Class action -- yes, I say class action!
MSM race relations reporting motto: If at first it don't seethe try, try anything until you make it seethe.
Already whites have been attacked, how will we ever know the number attacked and even killed?

I'll bet there would be millions of spoke that would love to sign a petition in support of his suit. NBC is more dangerous to our liberty than Al Queda. I'd have to say that the MSM is probably a greater threat to America than Hiltler and Stalin ever were combined. Our Republic and its press will rise or fall together," Pulitzer wrote. "An able, disinterested, public-spirited press, with trained intelligence to know the right and courage to do it, can preserve that public virtue without which popular government is a sham and a mockery. A cynical, mercenary, demagogic press will produce in time a people as base as itself. The power to mould the future of the Republic will be in the hands of the journalists of future generations. ― Joseph Pulitzer

Award Zimmerman all of NBC’s broadcast licenses.

Were any big-shot MSNBC types named in the lawsuit?

This civil suit may show that NBC is so generally viewed by all Americans that NBC has poisoned the NATIONAL jury pool, rendering it impossible for Zimmerman to get a fair trial anywhere in the United States. Big fallout from that.

Is there a lawyer in the house?
What does Zimmerman asking for "damages in excess of the jurisdictional limit" mean?
Also, does he and his attorney have to prove malice?

Lawsuits ought to be brought to a lot of media outlets, just based on their bias. Sue them to send a message....over and over. Do it until they change.

***Zimmerman, who is Hispanic...***
Thank you, CNN. And Michael Martinez. Maybe I haven’t notice it, but precious few msm outlets report that Mr. Zimmerman is Hispanic.
It forces the race-baitors to put this in its proper perspective.

"George Zimmerman sued NBC Universal on Thursday"
"Zimmerman, who is Hispanic and is charged with..."
A cynical person might see some relationship between those two sentences. Where oh where did "White Hispanic" go?
Nah, I'm sure CNN decided to drop the whole White Hispanic charade for other reasons.

Good- I truly hope he and his wife end up as multi millionaires for the compelte railroading and travesty of justice he has had to endure
The defamation most definately WAS for political purposes- and was meant to force a judge to hold george in prison until AFTER the elections at which point the case will lose ALL media attention except for fox and a few talk radio shows at which point I doubt that a blatant violation of his rights will even be mentioend in the press and he’ll be tucked away in some quiet cell for life and forgotten- The whole issue became political when our dear leader declared that he wanted a son just like martin- and hten NEVER said another word abotu the case even after it was blatantly clear george was being violated by the very court systerms that is suppsoed to protect victims-
