Planned Parenthood of the Heartland is hosting guest Sandra Fluke at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The event, titled "The Big Event: Courage -- No Matter What," will be at the Rococo Theatre, 140 N. 13th St.
Fluke, an attorney and women’s rights advocate, was not allowed by Republicans to testify in February to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on the importance of requiring insurance plans to cover birth control. Commenting on her planned testimony, talk show host Rush Limbaugh, made derogatory comments about Fluke and speculated about her sex life.
Tickets are $30, or $20 for students under 25. They can be purchased online from Planned Parenthood for the Heartland

How the h*ll can this organization be called “Planned Parenthood” when their whole premise is “Planned Non-parenthood” either through pregnancy prevention or abortion...

Fluke graduated from Georgetown Law School this spring and passed the California State Bar Exam in July of this year.
