Hardly to "intimidate the Israelis" -- the Russian navy is a bunch of rusty tugs that can barely invade cyprus
The Russian army is a different thing, but the navy -- nah.. Israel could knock them out in a second -- and the Russians know this

I suppose zer0 will make our navy tuck tail and run. We have a pacifist gay navy now...just like the whitehouse.
Apologies to my Navy friends still in uniform who are neither gay nor pacifist. I feel sorry that you are stuck under this particular commander and chief for the next 4 years.

The Russian Black Sea Fleet Task Force is now in the Aegean Sea awaiting to transit back into the Black Sea. They are currently riding out a storm and will probably transit back into the Black Sea. Greek media has reported on the vessels.

Some of those victories over the Ottomans were won by none other than John Paul Jones, then a Russian Admiral.

Further to my last post the Russians have clarified their intentions. No further visit to Tartus, Syria is planned this year and all vessels of the Black Sea Task Force will have returned to home port by the end of the year. The vessels will leave the Mediterranean and Aegean Sea in stages.
