Every family’s got one, at least. That hardcore conservative who makes every Thanksgiving get-together a nightmare by sounding off, unprompted, on how liberals are ruining this country with their taxing and their spending and their gay-marrying, and how back in my day blah blah blah.
Usually you just keep your head down and stare into your turkey and try not to make eye contact with anyone. Then the next morning in the shower you remember what you should have said in response.
But this year’s going to be different. Why? Because here at MSNBC, we’ve anticipated crazy Uncle Gary’s top talking points, and provided you with the concise, factual, snappy rebuttals you need to finally shut him up once and for all.

I know I won;t shut up if they ever brought any of their crap up but then again I have no libral pals or family and people aroundhere are conservatives, so much s that we outnumber nonparty and Dems, combined
But sooner or later, reality will intrude.
This is the question I'd like to put to confirmed Obama devotees, but I don't think that their comprehension skills allow them to rise above the most infantile first-level thinking.
But sooner or later, "magical thinking" will run aground on the rocks of reality. And even liberals need to eat.

I have yet to see any documented evidence that there actually IS a greater incidence of extreme weather events! Those who promote the melting ice cap rantings jump on things like Katrina and Sandy to support the case but conveniently ignore all those seasons when there are ZERO such events. Killer storms have been happening throughout history, they didn’t just start happening. If I say something about unusually cool weather in South Carolina they say I am nuts but Sandy is proof positive of what they say.
Mm hmm. Right. Cuss your heart out and have a nice day.
Since “crazy” Uncle Gary probably is hosting the Thanksgiving meal, and paying for the food everyone is enjoying, he hopefully this year decided to forego turkey, since PETA objects. This years meal will be built around green and organic concepts, with material collected from a communal compost heap. For desert, their will be algae.
And hopefully he charged his relatives, who work for non-profits, the Federal Government, the SEIU, or simply don’t work. It is not a “charge” per se, but a fee that is levied to make to pay for the carbon offsets since the liberal visitors each drove to Gary’s house and must pay a fee to repay for the damage they caused the earth and future generations.
Gary, being crazy like a fox, has the above arrangements made, but this year decided not to actually attend the event. He put his liberal relatives in charge since they are so smart. Gary is in the Carribean, enjoying the thought of how he has helped him more intelligent relatives enjoy their ideas.
Interesting they put voter fraud 1st.

Those who watch it put forth absurd arguments propped up by straw men and imagine themselves to be master debaters. I know, we are cursed with one in the family. I sometimes have fun imagining what would happen if he suddenly realized what an idiot he sounds like. He might actually commit suicide.
To which I would reply with the carving knife directing the moocher out the door.
Interesting how much insight into our politics that some of our European friends have. Especially, when you see so much anti-Americanism in their press.
Our European friends are point how that in the rest of the world, the Communists are labeled as ‘Reds’ and hear they call themselves ‘Blue’. I just respond that if reflects the power of a corrupted media.

She had one thing right, “They” should tear the government down and start all over but she has no idea why. Actually she is right that “They” (the people who have destroyed the value of the dollar) don’t care about people, so she got two things right but is without a clue to the real reason.
Her idea of starting a government from scratch would probably be to start off with something even worse than we have now.

Ditto re the leftist talking-head apologists. It’s a hoot to turn on the TV and hear the verbiage they’ve received in the morning fax/email blast from the White Hut. Toward the end of the campaign, one guy mentioned, “which Mitt” was going to show up. Turned the channel, another one mentioned “depends on ‘which Mitt’ will be there. An hour later, another “which Mitt”. You’d think the libs would be ashamed not to be able to think/speak for themselves.
Rush is a riot when he plays the montages of lib talking heads repeating talking points verbatim 15 or 20 times during one day.
I feel your pain here in the Peopls’s Republic of Maryland.
I guess I’m lucky. Just about my entire family is made up of conservatives. We have nothing to do with the couple of commie libs in the family. We do not tolerate them and they are not welcome around us.
