"You Republicans had better figure out why, after four years of this mess, that included Obamacare, stimulus, real life pain, home values under war on terror, no improvement whatsoever in the economy, I don't care what anybody said, in real life there was no improvement in wages, gas prices going way up, and a previous president gets blamed for it? You better be able to explain to yourselves how that happened, 'cause there's a reason. There's a reason.

You didn't defend yourselves! You didn't fight back against the lies. The Bush economy was not a disaster. The Obama economy was the disaster. Bush came out of two recessions. The Bush tax rates, the Republicans still won't speak up for 'em. The Bush tax rates enabled a really robust -- we had 4.7% unemployment through much of the Bush economy. People don't know it because every day for six years the media was saying we're in a recession or we're heading to a recession, and you had Katrina on top of it. The media was trying to convince the people of this country for six years while we had 4.7% unemployment that we're in the middle of a recession, or at the beginning of one, the economy stinks, it's horrible. And because of whatever thinking that existed from the White House on down, none of those charges were ever answered, they were never defended against."

The brain dead idiots running the GOP don’t have a clue about the truth. This is why we keep losing & probably will from now on. The RINOs & establishment big shot GOP dummies have destroyed our party.

Imagine the GOP attacking Mitt Romney for saying something too conservative.

Anyway, the GOP is done.

The GOPe doesn't deserve to survive. Every time one of their number notices whats blatantly obvious to the rest of us they get thrashed by the party sages.

Idiots.

"When I see the present Socialist Government denouncing capitalism in all its forms, mocking with derision and contempt the tremendous free enterprise capitalist system on which the mighty production of the United States is founded, I cannot help feeling that as a nation we are not acting honorably or even honestly." - Winston Churchill, Woodford Green, July 10, 1948.

Republicans might try speaking truth, as did Churchill, by simply substituting the word "Party for the word "nation" in the last sentence.

Romney is pretending to criticize the Democrats. They buy their victories by bribing the voters.

The only trouble with that is that the GOPe thinks they can do the same. Tax and spend and tell the voters whatever they want to hear to make them feel good. Anything but the truth.

And I pretty much shut up about what I thought about Romney over the final months before the election, since there was no longer any alternative on offer. But, regretably, Romney’s record speaks for itself. As governor of Taxachusetts, he competed with the Democrats to give the libs whatever they wanted: government healthcare, gay marriage, taxpayer funded abortion and contraception, sex-change operations for criminals on the taxpayer’s dime, and so forth.

Odd how that just ended up empowering the Democrats in Massachusetts even more.

It’s jarring that while RINO Romney is telling the truth like a conservative, the rest of the 2016 contenders are blowing smoke like a bunch of libs.. if this continues boy are we in for another disapointer in 2016..hell, if that’s the case is rather have Romney again.... I really really hope this is not the case.

This whle thing reminds me of our election for class presidient in 7th grade. The winning candidate won on a platform of providing soda machines in every class and no homework allowed over weekends.

BTW, anyone think he kept those promises?

It’s called the end of the wicked system of things. Most of us knew it was coming, but perhaps hoped, prayed we would not be a part of it. Well we are. And we must prepare ourselves. One thing I am telling my friends and family is DO NOT get the “mark”. It’s coming. Better to die in His grace than to side with evil.

The only Republican who spoke up about the Bush Economy during the Campaign was Fred Thompson. He explained that the Bush Tax RATE Cuts (for the Rich), increased Federal Tax Revenue by 35% between 2003 and 2007.

I didn’t hear any other Republican mention that or any of the other positive things that happened. Funny how it all went to hell when Pelosi and Reid took over in January 2007.

Just a coincidence I’m sure.

Having participated at a local staff level in Republican politics actively since Nixon’s time and at the state level for Reagan where I was told by the late John L Waner that some of the material I developed for Illinois is in the The Reagan library

This is my considered opinion of the reason for the loss which I’ve posted several times in FR’s and emailed to Rush plus will be posting in my websire http://www.theusmat.com

Expecting voters to know what’s going on and their reliance on MSM is just part of why our great loss. While there are examples of fraud which may close up the gap, the gap is too big to blame the loss on fraud ...Expecting GOP E’s to address media bias or Romney to call Obama a congenital liar or even point out that the fact and figures released by the white house were allways questionable is another . But the fault lies really in the messaging the Republican campaign gave.choking on political correctness parameters devised by the socialist party known as Democrat ..

Romney ran a “Johnny One Note Campaign”. Used a poison dart blow gun when he should have used a cannon loaded with grape shot because he had pleanty of stuff he could fill that cannon barrel with..

They failed to hammer away on what will happen when Obama gets returned; The Obama past due 2013/14 Tax Increases. The impact of Obama’s choking energy supply policies; use of wind and solar alternate intermittant supply, restricted drilling, use of coal ,ban on fracking, and that related price..(a socialist construct never branded as such) was a bread and butter issue which reached into every “demographics” pocketbook...The impact of Supreme Court Appointments.. 18,000 new IRS agents and on and on. Including rampant corruption . Some were very briefly touched most weren’t and Benghazi was left to languish. Then there is Obama’s personal extravagance and behavior refusing to visit Nashville after its disaster showing up at New Orleans after Mitt visited it.

Instead we got a sales pitch on executive ability but not the reason why one should toss the old model and buy his. That print and tv pitch , 20 million new jobs, was given a discrarded dose of skepticism .

In addition Rove who I understand was handling the Charter PAC senate campaign played games. His material never warned voters that IF OBAMA GETS RE-ELECTED AND SENATE CONTROL REMAINED . .. OBAMACARE AND ALL THE TAX INCREASES THAT GO WITH IT WILL NEVER GET REPEALED Let alone tie into or cover the formentioned grape shot which would have perhaps changed that body. I don’t recall any of that material directed toward that fact.

Finally they didn’t believe the polls which turned out were dead on. Even going as far as setting up focus groups which could have looked into what’s going on . Even to the point of going out to local eateries and bars and eavesdrop into conversations and pick up on topics being discussed.(chat rooms twitter too contrived)

Since moving from Illinois to Wisconsin in retirement I joined a local GOP. There Our local small population (-8000) rural blue county GOP had at the outset good and growing attendence at their meetings 50 plus. At the meeting the Thursday before the election only about a dozen people showed up and I knew we were in trouble .

Nuts...This loss is inexcuseable, while I trully don’t believe Mitt Romney would never continence losing, I’m begining to wonder if many GOPE’s didn’t want to see O care go ..

the Republicans are complete and total idiots if they can’t see that baraka claus bought the votes by expanding disability, obamaphones etc. And to freak out when the flat truth is stated is wrong. The republicans are stoopid

I’m done with the GOP elite. Now Chris Christie (hasn’t he done enough brown nosing of Obama yet?) is bad mouthing ROMNEY for simply TELLING THE TRUTH. Yesterday, it was Bobby Jindal who joined in the “Bash Romney” chorus.

Now, the GOP elite has joined the cacophany to get rid of Rush, just as it kicked Sarah to the curb. RUSH and SARAH are the best things they have going for them; but they’d rather be relegated to being caddies for Obama for the foreseeable future!

Comrade obama is the anti-santa. He goes up the chimney with gifts earned by the good kids and redistributes them among all his dependent elves.

He’s still too stupid to realize that the good kids won’t be there for him once they run out of gifts and his elves turn on him.
