Can and should a business have the authority to fire you for non-criminal actions taken off duty?
Essentially what some of those comments are saying is if you are involved with an activity outside of work, that they don’t agree with as a core value you can be fired.
How many of us can be fired for posting on the extremist site known as Free Republic?
Look. I’m as pissed off as anyone about the election (well, mostly the Senate. A POTUS Romney would have killed conservatism. At least we are on life support). But I don’t care who it is, there is no place for these kinds of comments against anyone. I’d have fired her.
And the First Amendment doesn’t apply. It only applies to State action. This is a private Corp.

That makes the news, yet the ineligibility of Hussein to even hold office, has not been a issue to 99.9% of America.
His father was a foreigner. That makes Hussein ineligible. He’s not a natural born US citizen. Where he was born is harder to prove, but Hussein’s own voice on his audio book blabs on and on about his Kenyan father.
