A lawyer for Florida Republican Rep. Allen Wests re-election campaign said Saturday there is absolutely no chance of conceding the race despite Democratic challenger Patrick Murphy holding the lead by 2,429 votes.
A complete but unofficial vote tally released Saturday put Murphy ahead with 166,799 votes to Wests 164,370 giving him a 0.7 percent advantage, above the 0.5 percent threshold to trigger an automatic recount, the Palm Beach Post reported.
But Jeffrey Scott Shapiro, a volunteer lawyer for the West campaign, told TheBlaze there are significant concerns, particularly in St. Lucie County. St. Lucie is the only one of the three counties in the congressional district Murphy won, according to the AP.
We have some serious challenges to make in St. Lucie County, said Shapiro, who said he wasnt speaking officially on the campaigns behalf. We have a lot of confidence thats its very possible the numbers in St. Lucie County could change, and they could change dramatically
it definitely could change the outcome [of the race].

in 1947 in a place called Alice, Texas; there was a 201 error vote error found on the recount. 200 votes were for Lyndon Johnson and LBJ won (from memory LBJ then won by 167 votes).
LBJ was known as Landslide Lyndon.
As the corrupt scumbag he was, it set the stage for LBJ’s lead in the assassination of JFK in 1963.
The voters were in alphabetical order. The Dems do not care if you know, it is in your face lying.
THE CONFUSION GOES ON! Message came out from Allen Wests campaign this morning for NO ONE to show up at SOE in St. Lucie except for those chosen to do so!!

The recount did not go as planned. County tried to shift the days to be recounted to the last 3. This is not where the error occurred! It was the first 3! Observers were not allowed to hear the discussion and were “shooed” away.
No news as to current situation there, yet.
No news as to the next step. Do not go to help until further requests are made.
If today's recount shows any significant difference from the previous count we will have evidence of fraud or incompetence.
It would be a great starting point.
Was watching Fox this morning, and I saw that effeminate-looking pantywaist crook who ran against West, reared back in a chair and smiling, and I started to cry with the outrage of it all, I was so angry.
West is the only warrior we have.
A little good news would be nice bump! ;-)
but more on point didn't Gore v. Bush settle that the ballots to be recounted can't be cherry picked and you either recount all of the ballots or none of the ballots?
.
Here is the tabulation from St Lucie:

Note that there are/were 397 Blanks [No Vote] for the Presidential race, but then 4693 Blanks [No Vote] for the Senatorial race, and then 5086 Blanks [No Vote] for the House race.
What that means is that, according to St Lucie, about 4,500 people voted in the Presidential race but then left all the others Blank — even the Senatorial and House races that were just below them and hotly contested.
Would 4,500 people do that??? Is that believable that voters wouldn’t take 30 more seconds to vote for Senate or House??? Were they in that big of a hurry???
The numbers scream FRAUD.
St Lucie, you got some ‘splainin’ to do and the voters of Floriduh should demand it.
I can just see the people getting bussed in and told "this is the only vote you need to check, that's it" -- they weren't legitimate voters who would have known about the state & local issues and voted on the rest of the ballot.
This isn’t a “recount”. Because this county had a problem election night when counting the early votes. They claimed a computer tabulator glitch, and they ran those ballots through twice.
West says it changed the result by 4500+ votes (he is losing by about 2400 District wide.) The controversy generated this procedure today (presumably at the insistence of the state Division of Elections).
Because St. Lucie has not technically completed its count, and formal reporting to the state, this is more of an audit than a recount. If the margin of victory (now .7%) changes to .5% or less, an automatic recount of all the votes cast in the 3 counties will be ordered.
The legal problem I see is that the public notice from the Supervisor of Elections office stated it would recount ALL the early votes today. But a County Attorney (who has no jurisdiction over a Constitutional office like the Supervisor of Elections) made an announcement they were NOT counting ALL the early votes, but rather only the final 3 days of votes cast. I hope West’s lawyers are good ones, as this should be challenged. His campaign people are issuing strong statements, but in this situation, legal advice is more important than politics.
That’s like prosecuting people for drug crimes. It’s going to overwhelm the system/sarc
Apparently, after the canvassers/observers arrived this morning, Elections Chief Walker decided they would recount only the early ballots cast in the last 3 days before the election. It’s getting worser and worser.

What a coincidence!!! That just happens to be the approximate number of voters who voted just for the Presidential race and didn’t have the time to vote the Senate or House race or anything else. What are the odds???

My suspicion is that about 4500 Republican ballots were pulled during this glitch and about 4500 ballots with only the Presidential race marked off were substituted. Even when committing vote fraud Democrat operatives are too lazy to do it right and take short cuts. Filling in all those ovals is such hard work and time consuming.
St Lucie should open its books and let us see these 4500 Presidential-only ballots and do some splainin’.
Wrong. There are 176,000 voters in the post you are talking about, not 124,000. If they were counting both cards then the double amount would be 356,000 votes. They are talking about votes counted NOT ballots. This is voter fraud whether you want to admit it or not.
Americans must demand a nationwide voter ID in order to vote, and not allow just a driver's license. I know someone who has had three FL driver's licenses and none of them are valid! Nor is the S.S. number she uses in the national database! Until fraud is stopped through proper ID we will NEVER have fair elections and we will NEVER remove the fraud from Social Security, Medicare, Medicade,Welfare!
