That’s just inane.
But the differnce between this coming civil war against the feds and the first one, is that this time the rebels won't be marching in nice orderly lines on some field. It will look more like post occupation Iraq. With a bombing here, a shooting there, an ambush over here with 10,000 "cells" and no central leadership. The feds won't be beaten in a "fair" fight, it will be death by a thousand cuts over years if not decades. But it DOES work, look at how a few thousand arabs with pipebombs and AK's just about ran the entire modern US military out of Iraq and DID run the Entire Soviet Military out of Afghanistan.

That’s a result of the 17th Amendment, which implemented the popular vote for senators. It allowed special-interest groups, organized across many different states, to affect the outcome of senatorial elections within any one state.
The MSM guffawed when Rick Perry openly stated that the 17th Amendment needs to be repealed because that is its main effect (and perhaps its main purpose, too).
Senators were originally “state ambassadors”, representing their state’s governor and state’s legislature, and were the most important way in which the states, as sovereign political units, could have a voice in the central federation of these units in Washington, DC.
Repealing the 17th Amendment would be one important step toward a healthy return to the original idea of “Federalism.”
Any form of secession equals war and rivers of blood, probably nukes.
Likely to be unavoidable, though.

It's funny because for many years western Wisconsin's third district had a Republican congressman named Steve Gunderson (a very common Norwegian surname) who was eventually outed by a homo org. They still re-elected him after he was outed. But after Gunderson left congress, the district has now been solidly Democrat. Maybe there is something to all those Norwegian jokes. Or maybe the Republicans should try to run a Norwegian-American all the time.

I prefer the term purge.
That is those states (including michigan) that have shown themselves to be socialist in nature, abhor the constitution of the founding fathers, have tyrannical governments and no real rule of law must be purged from the union.
That includes all states north of Missouri,Kentucky, and Virginia south and west of the Beltway counties shall be purged from the Union. Those not desiring to exist in the Blue State socialist condition can be relocated southward. The black and other socialists residing in Red State cities shall be taken to the state lines and not permitted to return.

My first concern is our military. If we have enough of them defect to the rebellion, they can train us and help us gain access to the armament under Federal control.
If Obama was serious about arming “his people” to make a “civilian defense force,” I’m going to laugh my fat ass off when they first come up against a well-armed militia led by former spec ops and hunters.
If they leave all the welfare people and freeloaders would leave.

Better option involves less drama and no bullets. Partial virtual secession. Each state slowly refuses to abide by certain fed laws. Alabama just approved a constitutional amendment to limit obamacare in alabama by not requiring a person, employee or business from being compelled to participate in any health care system. This supposedly blocks obamacare in alabama but not sure about that. but it’s a start. We need to find ways to virtually secede.
