Latinos delivered. A record 75 percent of Latinos voted for President Barack Obama, and only 23 percent voted for Romney, according to Latino Decisions exit polls . In 2008, the president won 67 percent of the Hispanic vote while his Republican opponent Sen. John McCain won 31 percent, thats an 8 percent gain for Obama.
In the battleground state of Colorado, 87 percent of Latinos voted for Obama, while only 10 percent voted for Romney. In Ohio, 82 percent of Latinos voted for President Obama.
In Massachusetts, Latinos came out to vote overwhelmingly for Obama with 89 percent, and just 9 percent for Romney. Latino support here had implications in the white-knuckled, close Massachusetts Senate race. Latinos are an estimated 6 to 7 percent of all voters in Massachusetts and the impreMedia-Latino Decisions data shows Latinos overwhelmingly supported Elizabeth Warren by a record margin, 86 percent for Elizabeth Warren to 14 percent for Brown and the Latino vote is what decisively put Warren over the top, says Latino Decisions political scientist Matt Barreto.
New Mexico went blue in this election, with 77 percent of Latinos voting for Obama and 21 percent for Romney.
Latinos overwhelmingly said jobs and the economy as well as immigration were top issues for them. Obamas re-election marks a new beginning for politics, in a year where non-minority states went overwhelmingly for Romney and still lost, the era of extremism is knocking on deaths door. The GOP in states like Arizona and Texas should heed this message well or follow the pathway to irrelevance that is the South, says Stephen Nuño, political science professor at Northern Arizona University and an NBC Latino contributor.
The enthusiasm of Latino voters in this election reflects not only support for Obama and his policies, but dislike for the policies of Romney and the GOP, says Cristina Beltran, a professor of cultural and social analysis at New York University.
That is and was a pipe dream. Eventually Republicans won’t even be able to win Texas.
Well, for years, I’ve heard all this crap about how great Reagan was, how bad bush was....
Reagan opened the door in a big way for illegals.....
Hey, since Clinton, how many non whites have come here?
They are all voting age now....
Rove/Bush in Texas in 1998 won the MAJORITY of Latino votes.
At what cost?
At the total embarrassing cost of face to the Texas Democrats, who havent won a statewide race for 14 years since.
I invite you all to read the vdare.com website. It has excellent commentary on the demographic question, ethnic identity politics and immigration issues. It is much more reliable than what you’ll read in Mainstream GOP sources.
[ So...”Latinos” are the new “Black”...it just gets weirder and weirder]
I think this Latino Decisions is exaggerating the numbers. Many groups will want to take credit and reap the rewards. Minority groups vote in a bloc when they are downtrodden immigrants. But in time they achieve some success, begin to accumulate some wealth and climb the ladder. At that point they can go their own way politically. Excluding the constituents of big city political machines, the Irish, Italians, Chinese, Germans, Scots-Irish, etc. no longer base their vote on ethnic identity. They have mostly integrated into the mainstream.
We can all look forward to looking what happened to California happening to the rest of the country. Nevada and New Mexico are already there.
Oh, but wait! I’m originally from a large Irish Catholic enclave. They reliably voted 80% Dem for years, but it’s slowly trended (over the last twenty years) to about 50/50.
Did I mention that these people came over in the late 1800’s? So, after ten generations or so we should be just fine!
“I want to take your job. And send the money back to Metico, says the illegal. Decades of illegal immigration, along with the ever growing takers
Have formed a coalition that will be hard to beat on a national level.
Simple fact.”

The forcible removal of Hispanic illegal aliens MUST begin now. Texas ONLY went 57% for Romney. If the current resident illegals in Texas are converted to voters (which
is Ozero’s plan), Texas will be lost as a reliably red
state.
A removal plan like that, of course, could ONLY happen in a sovereign and independent Texas. If this does not happen Texas WILL be lost in 20 years. We will be overwhelmed
demographically and ONLY Hispanic candidates will win the
Governor’s office and higher state offices, with Caucasians
being able to only keep some local pockets.
Its coming. Like a freight train.
For years Frank Luntz claimed that any day now, there was going to be an emerging black conservatism because blacks "agreed with us" on the "social issues." No. They don't. Not enough to affect a vote that is entirely driven by racialist identity politics, regardless of how much they may disagree with specific issues. Frank hasn't made that claim since 2008. You should give up on it, too.
I recommend people check out that website as well.
Romney lost by moderate margins in Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Among Great Lakes States, he won Indiana and lost by a lot in Illinois.Hispanics and Asians aren't all that important in this swing region: it's basically pre-1965 white and black America. And Romney just didn't appeal enough on manufacturing and jobs in that part of the country. How does the 2009 Auto Bailout sound as the key to the Electoral College in 2012?
The Jewish vote was 30% GOP.

In less than a decade we will lose our Constitution, our rights, our liberties, and we will be a third world hellhole like Mexico City of Mogadishu.
The desire for cheap illegal is now a national security threat.
The Catholic Church has been railing about the HHS Mandate and the Obama administration (at least at my church, anyway). But, apparently, some people are ignoring everything they hear in church and just voting for “more free stuff.”
Yes look at South Africa where they are doing a genocide of whites which the media hides as the hides benghazi gate from Americans. THAT’s where we are headed and the white liberals like Chrissy mathews, Gov Christie, and all the liberal repoterettes on TV, will be strung up as they are doing in South Africa.
It’s nice to be optimistic but none of it matters. They only want free stuff. That’s it. Nothing else matters. Anybody who gives them free stuff gets their vote. Doesn’t matter if more of them are unemployed now than four years ago. Race doesn’t matter as long as the government check keeps coming. The only way the GOP can compete in any substantial way is to get into a bidding war with the Democrats much like the Caesars bribed the Roman legions for the Imperial throne.
Rove/Bush never thought about by-passing Congress to push the Rove/Bush Doctrine through. They followed the law to pass a bill that allows others to break it and it failed as it should have.
The real question is why John Boehner allowed Obama to create his own immigration laws (among many other laws / actions he took without going through Congress)

Here is a reasoning behind voting for Obama that some members of “minorities” subscribe to...
Obama is not a white guy. (Forgetting that his mother is white.) Therefore, he knows about struggles that minorities go through in America...He will look out for minorities...
How could GOP respond to that?
I actually saw a clip of an Asian gentleman saying that to a reporter...That gentleman was mostly likely a recent immigrant. I don’t think he’s alone in his thinking.
