Should the National Geographic Channel cancel the Osama Bin Laden : The Last Days Special in respect to the hurricane victims in New York ?
The New York Marathon was canceled in respect to the hurricane victims and so the right thing for National Geographic channel to do is cancel this show.
This is the last thing the New Yorkers need is to be reminded of 9/11 with people suffering from this hurricane and tragic event.
YES. i will not watch it
Amazing how much loot one can rake in, including HUGE salaries, when saying you are non-profit. Nobody really watches them, especially Obama.
I’m sticking by my prediction. The brain dead will watch it but those with half a brain or more are sick of the Benghazi story and will not watch it because they’ll assume 0bama had little or nothing to do with the OBL mission.
You’re welcome!
I read or heard that this will be released to Netflix the following day. Harvey Weinstein isn’t looking to make any money from it. It’s just a two hour campaign ad for his “messiah”. Just a gift from Harvey to “The One”.
Due to sandy I lost track of latest standings on this.
I heard national graphic refused a change regarding Romney as the villain .
Weinstein make requested changes or is this no longer playing?
They played Fahrenheit 911 before election and Kerry still lost .
Supposedly Nat Geo has already been threatened by the Muzzies.
If they show the kill, that alone could spark protests and outrage overseas.
But are any Generals calling up the filmmakers telling them to atop offending Muslims? Will Hillary blame the movie and ita producers?
Will they be arrested?
I think the Red Cross is headed towards the dung heap. They have become like the UN, too much goes into feeding the beast and too little gets to those in need. I will never give them a penny. The middleman is becoming obsolete, eliminate the skimmers. Get a zip code, look up the nearest church and ship them needed items. No more throwing good money after bad for the corrupt to exploit.
That could be. I’m not so sure. The Left just loves the Red Cross. Thanks for the comments. I agree with your additional comments BTW.
Although I am convinced their managers make way too much money, I’m not convinced their overhead is out of line overall. Does it rub me the wrong way that a charitable organization’s manager for San Diego was being paid in excess of $300,000.00 per year? Your darn straight it does.
The other problem as I see it, is that they don’t/won’t spend funds donated for a certain disaster, to that disaster’s victims. Obama was on the tube all afternoon and evening, hawking donations for the Red Cross for Eastern Seaboard victims. The fact is, funds raised for there are by no means guaranteed to be spent there.
To me, that is borderline fraud.
If the Red Cross wants to advertise and solicit funds to support the organization on general principles, go ahead and disburse the funds as they see fit. If they solicit for the families of 09/11/2001, then make sure the funds go to them.
Another thing. When you’ve already received far more funds than you could ever be expected to pay out for a certain calamity, stop soliciting more funds.
After 09/11/2001 the Red Cross kept soliciting funds far beyond the time they had adequate funding. It was criminally userous for them to still use that event as an excuse for needing donations. It was totally dishonest.
Exactly. It stuck in my craw then, and it still does today.
It made me angry. I’m still angry about it.
I think the “special” will provide a reminder of what the murdering Obama team did, or didn’t do, in Benghazi.
The National Geographic CEO is a strong Obama supporter. This is his contribution in kind.
No.
Why should the airing of any tv special be canceled just because a natural disaster occurred in new York or anywhere else? Makes no sense.
Because it will remind those who live in New York again about 9/11 ? Osama Bin Laden ? and that’s the last thing they need to think about after this storm ?
