This photograph is actually a video still captured from an Al Jazeera video of the amazing scene at the U.S. Benghazi Consulate compound sometime before 11:30 pm. Four additional captioned photos can be found at my Flickr page below.
This is the first in a series of photos I will be posting over the weekend along with some new video. In each instance it is my goal to present information that the U.S. news media has by and large failed to present to the American public. Most of the video and video still images were obtained from Middle Eastern sources.
I want to thank Congressman Issa for releasing the Benghazi compound photographs after the October 10th hearing
First photos of Americans abandoning Benghazi Consulate emerge
Do keep me posted! I am very interested in this story.
THANK YOU for all your hard work.
Thanks!
I was going to put Oblamer into the animated version too, but it was too much work, so there are two now...
Thank you Dave for all your hard work. If you have a ping list can you please add me? Thanks again.
Fox has been doing a GREAT job reporting on Benghazi. Just last night Hannity was talking about Benghazi with Liz Chaney. And Greta has also been featuring Benghazi.
Much of Fox News and Talk Am Radio has been about Benghazi.
If anybody's sitting on Benghazi it's cnn, MSNBC and the other networks.
Why are they not showing a 20 second video from Al Jazeera with text claiming that the US "compounds" were attacked by protestors? I have no idea.
Maybe because it was a terrorist attack and not a protest?
Good YouTube channel by the way. You have Twitter?

I saw the clip and missed the fact that his hands were tied behind his back until I went back and watched again.
I don't have Catherine Herridge or Jennifer Griffin's email. If anyone has it please post it. They've been doing the most work on this story.
I send a lot of stuff to Hannity and Greta, but I'm not sure the best way to get them is through email. There may be better ways. Also send it to Drudge and Breitbart. HotAir, Glenn Beck etc. You've got some interesting photos here. The sand bags show how desperate they were for protection. The fact that Al Jazeera was able to film during the crisis is interesting too. Were they told they was going to be an attack and to stand by? I wonder how much video AlJazeera actually has. And anyone can see this was not an angry out of control mob.
Not sure about Catherine's email below: Hannity@foxnews.com; ontherecord@foxnews.com; rush@eibnet.com; Cavuto@foxnews.com Herridge@foxnews.com
You may be wrong is assuming that they’re not speaking.
Just because sources aren’t named doesn’t mean that sources don’t have names.
The FOX reporters have said time and again that their sources are rock solid. Can’t get much more solid than eyewitnesses.
Post/thread BUMP!
When the video starts a man is standing facing the front of the SUV with his hands behind his back.
:02 seconds into the video we see that same man is approaching the car, hands still behind his back
:04 seconds same man, hands still behind his back being helped into back seat of SUV
The man is in handcuffs. Do you have a link regarding a prisoner turned over to Libyan forces when CIA annex was evacuated?
Quoting Rummychick from post 9:
“The notes on those photos is very interesting. The gist they are trying to imply is that the US is lying about the nature and scope of the attack”
This video is supposed to be of the consulate evacuation correct? There is no sense of urgency either in the still frames or the first 11 seconds of the video. Look at the man standing around with his hands on his hips.
Al Jazeera is as trustworthy as CNN and MSNBC. Keep in mind the captions on the video says “Angry Protesters Attacked At Least Two American Diplomatic Compounds”
Protesters? Angry Protesters? Gee, where have I heard that one before. I wonder if the situation room relied on Al Jazeera for their info? (only 1/2 kidding)
Those are not the movements of men who under fire. The video might have been taken at some point that night, but I have my doubts it was taken at the consulate when those from the annex were leaving with Smith's body.
We get one sided interviews/talking points from hussein and Hillary but still haven’t heard a peep out of these still unidentified embassy personnel. If it were any other distaster, CNNCBSABCNBC would have cameras shoved in their faces 24/7 but with this it’s crickets.
Hmmm, those people don't appear scared or in any hurry. No ducking or dodging bullets. They're reasonably calm and orderly.
Thanks for the pictures.
That’s what Hillary considers safe? A few sandbags serving no purpose whatsoever. A ripped piece of plastic hiding something. Huge windows (were they even bullet proof?). Vehicles parked out in the open. A short wall that a 5 year old could climb over. No, that’s not secure.
I’ve been asking why, from what we have seen on tv, that the photos looked very much from professionals/photo journalists. Well, well, so there it is. AJ was there the entire time. So, who tipped them off to be there ahead of time? I said this a wag the dog gone bad from the beginning and it’s smelling more and more like it was. Nothing of what we’ve heard is anywhere close to the truth.
“There is no sense of urgency either in the still frames or the first 11 seconds of the video.”
This raises more questions than answers.

Exclusive: Security officials on the ground in Libya challenge CIA account
“Nothing of what weve heard is anywhere close to the truth.”
BINGO!
After watching Herridge & Rubin report, I’m guessing they’ve got a lot of info, but unless their sources ARE rock solid, they’re not putting it on the air. Herridge knows a lot more than she is/can put out there with those standards - if her demeanor the last time I saw her is any indication, she was fighting to look professional, but you could see her disgust with the situation/info she’s getting leaking around the ‘edges’.
Very strange. Did you see this?

Thanks for the links. Please keep me pinged for other stuff. I will be traveling the next couple of days but can check in in the evenings.

According to a source on the ground at the time of the attack, the team inside the CIA annex had captured three Libyan attackers and was forced to hand them over to the Libyans. U.S. officials do not know what happened to those three attackers and whether they were released by the Libyan forces.

Thanks for that link. Disturbing. Bookmarking for closer review later.
I’m traveling, too, but checking in to FR and breaking news.
Thanks for the ping.
Actually Al Jazeera English is a pretty doggone good news source. ( we get it on dish, ch 9410) And they show a bunch of stuff that never makes it to US media for any number of reasons. Curiously they even show more video frequently of US domestic events-—example: they’ve had overhead shots of Sandy damage that I haven’t seen anywhere else. As with any source you have to be mindful of whether the reporter/producer is grinding an axe but we check them daily along with the Krauts via Deutche-Welle , Arabs via Mosaic, and the Chicoms via CCTV9 (dish ch 265). Al Jazeera will frequently show damage/injury shots more completely than the others, who apparently worry too much about our “sensibilities”. Satellite “dish” is great for a good spread of news sources-—better than the web in our view.
