Why Catholics Will Choose President Romney
Because they can.
Sixty million Americans are Catholic. One in every four American voters is Catholic. This election is about jobs, jobs, jobs -- and about that ubiquitous Catholic "swing" vote in 10 key states where electoral votes will be determined by the Catholic margin: Wisconsin, Iowa, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, Missouri, the new toss-up states of Pennsylvania and Michigan, and the key states of Florida and Ohio.
With 134 Catholic "swing state" electoral votes on the line, Catholics are about to head to polls and choose the next president of the United States:

well, THIS Catholic will be voting (as usual) conservative. And that means NObama. Romney isn’t great, but he’s not Obama, and Ryan is a breath of fresh air (not saying that ‘cause he’s Catholic — I supported Cain before the unfortunate drop out)
And furthermore, with Obama’s vociferous support of baby killing, to me voting for him is partnering with baby killing and I have no hesitation in telling any “Catholic” that they are excommunicating themselves..
Hispanics are a major subgroup of the Catholic population and I doubt that significant numbers of this subgroup will vote Romney. Also, in a number of regions many Catholics are also union members who have always voted democrat.
This Catholic is going to vote for Goode.
If I’m not mistaken, Catholics (and I am one) always pick the winner. “Catholics” that support a president who endorses gay marriage, is the most pro-choice president in history and suppresses the freedom of the Church they claim to be a part of make my blood boil. Praying we smarten up this time.
Smart move. Do I really need to add the /s?
A lot of the Hispanics who vote will be voting for Romney in this election, especially in Florida. Our weakest group here are actually the older Irish American transplants from the Northeast, who will vote solidly Obama, no matter what the bishops say. I haven’t quite figured out what religion they’re practicing, anyway. They go to mass, but they seem to believe nothing that the Church teaches, especially in the moral sphere.
We’re having an all- night Adoration vigil in the Cathedral the day/ night before the election. Our bishop is very, very worried about the consequences of an Obama victory.
Btw, the Dems, through a front group called “Catholics United,” sent a letter to every priest in the diocese threatening them with legal action if they made any statements that could be considered “political.” In other words, anything that might cast Obama in a negative light. The bishop sent out a notice telling them not to be concerned, but I think it did have an effect on some of them.
So, if "political" is off-limits, how about this?
This OpEd is damning.... Sestak, others question Benghazi response
The Catholic church in the US is socially conservative and economically very liberal.

Ohio, for example. Esp, in the NE.
Nonsense. Catholics, like Jews, mostly vote left. Thanks, Vatican II. I can remember when Catholics actually were conservatives. Some of my over 65 friends still are. But, today you have to stick cotton in your ears at Mass not to hear non stop left-wing propaganda.
Oh. Kennedy Catholics. (like Teddy)
That’d be time for another Crusade, for sure...
Since you are obviously enamored by pointless ‘votes,’ please share for whom you’re voting come next Papal selection
Amen
