ROMNEY CAMPAIGN UNLEASHES THE MOST POWERFUL POLITICAL AD OF OUR GENERATION

Political ads can be difficult to evaluate. Sometimes memorable ads arent particularly effective. I still have fond memories of the Demon Sheep, but she wasnt able to secure a campaign victory for her candidate.
The Romney campaign has already gotten quite a bit of mileage out of contrasting their candidate with Barack Obamas chilling vision of You Didnt Build That collectivist theory. Now theyve refined that contrast into nuclear political ordnance. This morning Ive been hearing people compare the power of this ad to the infamous Daisy mushroom-cloud commercial deployed against Barry Goldwater.
Unlike Daisy, this one is honest. This really is what Campaign 2012 is all about. It never should have come to this, but it has.

Here's the direct link to the ad: http://youtu.be/4Lr49t4-2b8 I think it's very powerful. Share it with your friends!

I saw this about 2 days after the “you didn’t build it” comment.
Is the news that they are putting it up on TV now whereas before it was only on youtube?

Its a good political commercial - succinct and powerful. People will remember the closing message, if they remember nothing else about it.
This is exactly the kind of winning campaign you want to run - optimistic and uplifting.
No wonder this campaign has been on a roll!

In Barack Obama’s defense, he doesn't know any different. All his achievements were made possible by somebody else.

One great thing about this ad is that it seems to be modeled after the opening scene in the 2004 movie Friday Night Lights ... down to the pickup truck, the music (it sounds like the same band, too), the voice on the radio, and the distinctly American themes.

Very powerful ad...but it and the article is 3 months old.
Still, doesn’t hurt to share it at this point.
