Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer said tonight that his sources tell him that Obama was one of the people in the room watching the Benghazi attack go down and both he and Col. David Hunt agree it would have taken an order by the president to intervene.

Further, Col. Hunt said that we were only 20 min away by jet and a couple of hours away by AC-130 gunships and special forces, and the decision not to intervene had to be political.

Tell me what was so important, so vital that Obama PASSED ON THE GREATEST PRESIDENTIAL POLITICAL OPPORTUNITY EVER to lock up his reelection? Think about it.......he could have had a BinLaden rerun. 130s, Seals, Delta! Massive rescue mission, saving the lives of Americans, We would have been watching footage on every station, 24/7 right up to November 6th. Just one word....GO! He opted out, why? What if Ozero is not calling the shots. what if all calls/decisions are mde by Valerie Jarrett,axelrod and moochhell since everything inthei regime is political little else matters. What if zero is just a waling talking teleprompter? What if Jarrett, Axel and Moochhell decided that Stevens was loose cannon.He knew too much about everything and had to go? What then? Almost anybody willing to know that this was Zero's decision to do nothing already knows. More proof is nice but it distracts from proving that the whole thing was deliberate murder by proxy. What we need is more about the motive.

What about the guns Stevens was shipping to jihadis in Syria through Turkey? When are these idiots at Fox sNooze going to get to that?

With Stevens out of the way and Benghazi in turmoil it might be easier for AQ to take control of those weapons and send them through their channels. Perhaps through Egypt?

I know he’s deliberate as you say but, if Obama is given a pass by the voters this means they’ve simply decided he was incompetent. Some folks can live with a ‘bad decsion’. Most folks can not live with an evil decision. We think what he did in regards to Benghazi is evil but, it remains to be seen how the rest of the public views his handiwork. They simply may view it as a ‘bad decision’ and move on to his second term. I know....the thought hurts me too.

I'm still thinking about the motive, both for the attack and for Zero.

As for the attack, with Stevens out of the way and Benghazi in turmoil it might be easier for AQ to take control of those weapons and send them through their channels instead of the CIA's chosen group. Perhaps through Egypt?

As for Zero, I'd bet he's just hell bent on claiming that these are small things in his "big picture" approach to the liberation of the Arab world. Perhaps he thinks that North Africa (supposedly) "at peace" would demonstrate what he remembers so fondly from his Islamic childhood in Indonesia. White European capitalist greed is what causes all the instability in that region you know. ;-)

I don’t know. My guess would be that since it was CNN that found Stevens’ diary, it might have been them. Possibly al jazeera or the news guys from Lebanon who first announced that Stevens had been raped. Could have been Libyan press.
It could have been ansar al shariah itself since they do so love to film themselves in action and upload it straight to youtube.
