KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) -- A word of advice to candidates campaigning in Wisconsin: Don't get between voters and their cheese.

Vice President Joe Biden seemed to irritate a shopper at the Mars Cheese Castle in Kenosha on Friday ..

As Biden cheerily greeted customers, a 30-something woman tried to explain what was happening to her young daughter. The woman said -- quote -- "This is a battleground state. They're trying to win it. I just need some limburger cheese."

I only know limburger cheese by reputation. I’ve never actually seen or smelled it. Even in Wisconsin.

So you wouldn’t have noticed if the stink was the cheese, or was it Joe?

They should drag Joe Biden to campaign stops in a caged wagon and park him out front.

I would have guessed his first choice was red Leicster.

I’m sure he would have wanted the Venezuelan Beaver cheese.

My grandfather loved limburger cheese (and also horseradish) and my father told of the time his school couldn’t hold Monday clases because “someone” had put limburger cheese on the steam radiator(s) Friday afternoon.Smelled awfully(suspicious)..

Limburger placed on the engine block of a parked car makes a nice surprise down the road somewhere.

I recall a classroom limburger radiator incident where the school ended up throwing out the affected textbooks.

I love funky cheeses, so I got Limberger when I saw it being sold.

It smells like cat poop and does not have much of a taste. No upside. I don’t know why anyone would like it.

LOL. You are so right. My mother’s first and only salad she made for my father was with that cheese. He held a clothes pin over his nose.

She followed her nose, walked into the cheese shop, and found Joe.

I wish that picture was a panoramic shot. It would show the adult bookstores that populate that stretch of I94 where Joe Bite me is shown. Kenosha is Wisconsins’ armpit. Or taint. I can’t wait for this election to over. To think that Biden is “a heartbeat away” from the presidency scares the $hit out of me.
