The evidence suggests that the Obama administration has not simply been engaging, legitimating, enriching and emboldening Islamists who have now taken over or are ascendant in much of the Middle East. Starting in March 2011, when American diplomat Christopher Stevens was designated the liaison to the "opposition" in Libya, the Obama administration has been arming them, including jihadists like Abdelhakim Belhadj, the leader of the al Qaeda franchise known as the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group.
Once Qaddafi was overthrown, Chris Stevens was appointed as the ambassador to the new Libya run by Belhadj and his friends. Not surprisingly, one of the most important priorities for someone in that position would be to try to find and secure the immense amounts of armaments that had been cached by the dictator around the country and systematically looted during and after the revolution.
One of the places in Libya most awash with such weapons in the most dangerous of hands is Benghazi. It now appears that Amb. Stevens was there - on a particularly risky day, with no security to speak of and despite now-copiously-documented concerns about his own safety and that of his subordinates - for another priority mission: sending arms recovered from the former regime's stocks to the "opposition" in Syria. As in Libya, the insurgents are known to include al Qaeda and other shariah-supremacist groups, including none other than Abdelhakim Belhadj.

You know, I watched an interview of the LTC who was the head of the DOD team in Benghazi who was asking for more security and who then had his own team pulled out a few weeks before the attack.
He was asked straight up that if the Ambassador knew how dangerous the situation in Benghazi was, why did he go there on 911? The answer that LTC gave was, I believe, very revealing...but in his own way. He said,
“Yes, he knew it was dangerous, but I believe that his commitment to ‘complete the mission’ took him there.”
The obvious question then is...what was the “mission?”
I now believe, just as this article represents, that they were negotiationg directly with Al Quida operatives to run guns to the rebels in Syria...to the Islamic Fundamental rebels, who themselves are Al Quida sympatthizers and that the whole thing went bad.
There is something like this...so deep and dark...that is driving this administrations actions. Something they will lie blatantly about...and brazingly...to try and keep it from coming to light.
Simple incompetence does not make sense here. It may answer some questons, but not nearly all.

We have been trying to convince people of this since his speech in Cairo. It was a dead giveaway as to his intentions, but most people are so misinformed about islam they did not understand his speech from islam’s point of view. He spoke to them in their own language disguised for westerners. It meant something completely different to the muslim brotherhood who were there at obama’s personal invitation.
If the “ammunition distribution” was managed by the two ex-SEALs, they might have been offed for the same reason as well...
But they were fools if they thought that nobody would ask questions about what really happened in Benghazi.
What I would really love is if somebody found and made public the video footage of the Egyptian ambassador saying on Arab TV that Obama had privately told him that he was and still is a Muslim who supports the Muslim agenda and that the Muslim world needed to be patient with him while he got Obamacare passed and then Obama would start on the Muslim agenda...
That would explain why we are taking the weaponry in Libya and giving it to the ISLAMIST opposition in Syria and not to the secular folks opposing Assad who just want freedom.

If we were distributing weapons to these jihadists then why did they kill Stevens and the others? Simply because they wanted to eliminate the middle man?
If weapons distribution is what was going on then zero, etc. can’t be all that upset over the outcome - well other than the effect on his election and the minor matter of a few dead Americans.
You are so right! Yesterday on Hannity I heard two women, one whining about equal pay and she didn’t care that the WH doesn’t participate in equal pay and has a hostile work environment according to women who worked there. The other woman was upset about the birth control issue - didn’t want to pay the $9/month and when her complaints weren’t all that effective she then whined about Mitt saying that government doesn’t create jobs so how can Mitt say he’ll create 12m jobs?
I wondered if these were rat plants doing seminar calls. But either way - they’re focusing on the insignificant while keeping muslims from converting the USA is hugely significant to all of us.

However, it must not be SEEN as malfunctional and dysfunctional, for that would be an image that would diminish the prospects for the ongoing, perpetual election cycle. This, however, is particularly CLOSE to the time of the actual election, and therefore not amenable to damage control normally handled by the lamestreams with careful massaging by the regime.
Hence the fairy tale about the mohammed video. Liars weave tangled webs. History’s lessons tell us that the coverups are always far worse than the malfunction itself. But lib politicians just can’t resist. They always believe that history only applies to the past, and only to the bad guys.
I think Obama figured that, if he wins re-election, he will simply intimidate anyone who might ask questions into keeping quiet...and if he loses, I'll bet it's not Hawaii he'll be moving to, but the ME.
BTW, I agree about the SEAL's. This all reeks of Obama's muslim empowerment (gun running) effort.
On the other issue (of Nile TV's interview with Egypt's Foreign Minister Gheit), the source of that story is Avi Lipkin's wife, who regularly monitored Arabic and Egyptian TV and radio for Israel.
While it would be nice to have a video of that, all that Obama promised Gheit has basically come about with the Arab Spring. Israel is isolated politically and her enemies have been armed to the hilt.
This was a cleaning operation. Obama was scrubbing the paper trail and getting rid of those who would talk if taken prisoner by the wrong people (like the Israelis).
