Officials at the White House and State Department were advised two hours after attackers assaulted the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11 that an Islamic militant group had claimed credit for the attack, official emails show.
The emails, obtained by Reuters from government sources not connected with U.S. spy agencies or the State Department and who requested anonymity, specifically mention that the Libyan group called Ansar al-Sharia had asserted responsibility for the attacks.

Id like to know who told Susan Rice to lie OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER again..that is what I want to know..because NO WAY did she decide to do that herself..someone told her to do it..and not only do it once but REPEATEDLY. The reason why Obama and his cronies did not want to admit that this was a terrorist attack is simple, they have been preaching again and again how Al Qaeda is no longer a threat and they have been taken care of and here is this attack which is proven to be from Al Qaeda, it blows their whole theory and makes them look incompetent and before an election no less, they wanted to sweep this under the rug and they knew they had the backing of the media to do their bidding

On September 11, at about 10 p.m. Libyan time (4 p.m. in Washington), Ambassador Chris Stevens and a small staff were inside our consulate in Benghazi when terrorists attacked. The consulate staff immediately contacted Washington and our embassy in Tripoli.

I recognize the above is a stretch, but.. How else can 0bama's balking and failure to say 'terrorist attack' or 'terrorist act' be explained?
It should be clear to all that the Adminstration adopted a false narrative. It’s also to me that the three AM call came, and the Administration failed for ideological reasons. Obama has blinders on.
That's a good question. Maybe the State Dept and White House didn't even bother to alert anybody that this was happening and could also happen to them?

I was saying this last night.
Romney stayed away from the Libya issue:
1) because he knew Obama had crammed for it. Rather, Romney dwelt on other topics Obama was not prepared for and
2) if Romney had addressed Libya in depth HE would have been the topic for the next few days. He knew it would have more negative impact for Obama if he allowed Libyan events to unfold on their own over the next 2 weeks without the MSM being able to make Romney the center of attention.
The problem is that he did nothing to secure their safety and then lied about who was responsible for the attack. They knew by 6pm.
As an aside, one of the men arrested in Turkey is now in Tunisia and the US is being denied access. ( reported earlier on Fox)
