Barry shouldn’t have repeated “not optimal” ...he was repeating a bunch of Stewart’s questions - without adding new words - except “folks” and “screw up” (not him of course...somebody else screwed up...but of course....)

But the swing states have lost the military ballots.
It was reported that in WI Romney has filed suit that all military ballots be counted (if you recall WI had a bit of a problem sending out the military ballots by the legal deadline). Would expect that to be true in the other states as well.

I saw this clip on Fox today. It struck me as an odd, disparaging remark for the president to make about 4 Americans who had been killed at our embassy.

I remember BJ Clinton had to deal with that in 2000 (though he wasn;t running); a lot of Dem candidates politely declined his offers to campaign for them. I believe those that accepted his “help” fared much worse than those that distanced themselves from him.

People have their problems with George Dubya, but I remember seeing him with deceased troops’ families, and that man had tears in his eyes as he held crying mothers, grieving fathers, and heartbroken wives. I’ve been to enough funerals to know the difference between staged emotion and genuine pain and that man was genuine. He’ll carry those images to the end of his days, because he was the CinC that sent those people overseas.
