But I'll bet nobody from Hizb ut-Tahir was arrested for calling for killing gays, Jews, and women.
Each legislator should believe me that an eternity in the company of Beelzebub and all his hellish minions will be as nothing compared to five minutes alone with Mr. Atkinson and his pencil.
Gay rights campaigners from the group Outrage! were arrested under the Act when they protested against the Islamist fundamentalist group, Hizb ut-Tahrir, which was calling for the killing of gays, Jews and unchaste women.

Bravo to Mr. Atkinson. And to all the people who have been arrested under this disgusting law.
There should be a chorus of support for Atkinson on both side of the Atlantic from celebrities. But I guess that would mean celebs would have to be brave enough to take a stand against Sharia.

I can’t imagine that Terry Jones - the only untalented guy in the Python bunch - taking a stand on this. I may be wrong; I just needed to get a shot in on Jones. Snotty guy, by the way.

One of those rare times when the ACLU is correct was when their former director, Norm Seigal(sp?) stated that in reality the 1st amendment doesn’t protect free speech, it’s there to protect UNPOPULAR speech. On a related note, Nate Perlmutter, fmr head of the ADL of B’nai B’rith said the best was to deal with hate speech is not to censure it, but chalenge it with more speech.
I love Top Gear on the BBC. The History Channel’s Top Gear is not as good.
