Gallup: The Unemployment Rate Is Collapsing

More evidence that the official 7.8% unemployment rate is not the wild outlier people initially thought.
This just in from Gallup:
--------
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- U.S. unemployment, as measured by Gallup without seasonal adjustment, is 7.3% in mid-October, down considerably from 7.9% at the end of September and at a new low since Gallup began collecting employment data in January 2010. Gallup's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate is 7.7%, also down from September. October's adjusted mid-month measure is also more than a percentage point lower than October 2011.
These results are based on Gallup Daily tracking surveys conducted by landline and cell phone with more than 30,000 U.S. adults from Sept. 16-Oct. 15. Gallup's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate incorporates the .04 upward adjustment used by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) in October of last year. The adjustment for September was an increase of .02, which explains the .04 drop in seasonally adjusted employment despite the .06 decline in the unadjusted number.

In some parts of North Dakota, very easy to get a job , practically the only part in the country. Hope Romney wins and so Obama’s EPA won't shut that down too.
Actually, that is a very good sample space yielding a margin of error of +/- 0.577% (just over one-half percent).
So how many people filed for UI benefits last week? This week..Yet to be determined..
More folks are losing their jobs, not getting jobs!
not to mention a gigantic population (I mean HUGE) of government employees that belong to public employee unions
there are cops litterally everywhere, like mobile black and white toll booths collecting pension$ , and the streets and freeways are jammed with vehicles with exempt license plates, the government is everywhere
California is liberal because of the millions of illegals and other immigrants they imported many of them in the big cities, also blacks. California used to be conservative. Until the illegals reached critical mass.

I wouldnt get your hopes up. Even if Romney wins we will still have a tax-raising socialist president.

So the jihad against the Republican’s presidential candidate continues?
they are printing money again for god sakes.. these numbers are temporary...and it was done to be effective just prior to the election.
any gains are do to that... and the folks that dropped out of the job market altogether.
Collecting ‘partial benefits’ while working is a trap. It does deplete your Unemployment Compensation allotment and can be a rude surprise if terminated, only to find you’ve exhausted your UE benefits.
1: The Labor Participation Rate is at an historic low.
2: The question pool changed in October. Anyone who answers they so much as babysat for an hour was counted as employed.
Gallup's been compromised by the Obama Administration and the Eric Holder Justice Department. (Google Justice Department sues Gallup and you'll see what I'm talking about.)
idiot.
That’s an interesting insight into california which I didn’t know about. Hope Romney wins and you get a good job, I hope that for all Americans too.
Part time jobs are counted the same as full time jobs for the purpose of unemployement numbers.
Therefore, if we convert say 500,000 full time jobs to 1 million part-time jobs, then the unemployement crisis will be over.
Problem solved. /s
Notice the divergence of the Blue line from the BLS "adjusted" numbers since 2009. Work force participation is dropping like a rock. BLS cooks numbers.
The other over looked stat...is those who dropped off the DOL books....still looking for employment...but not counted....no way to count all those folks (like me....and no 99 weeks, 28 weeks)
it’s total BS when you just stop counting people.
Who would think that Gallup is nothing but an Obama prostitute
He should also move tax day to election day.
