Shortly after Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney enjoyed cookies and soft drinks with the Rev. Billy Graham and his son Franklin Graham on Thursday at the elder Graham's mountaintop retreat, a reference to Mormonism as a cult was scrubbed from the website of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
In a section of the website called Billy Graham's My Answer there had been the question "What is a cult?"
Answer: "A cult is any group which teaches doctrines or beliefs that deviate from the biblical message of the Christian faith."
"Some of these groups are Jehovah's Witnesess, Mormons, the Unification Church, Unitarians, Spritualists, Scientologists, and others," the site continued.
No longer. On Tuesday, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association confirmed that page has recently been removed from the site.
Our primary focus at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association has always been promoting the Gospel of Jesus Christ," Ken Barun, chief of staff for the association, told CNN in a statement. "We removed the information from the website because we do not wish to participate in a theological debate about something that has become politicized during this campaign."

No takers for your THREE MINUTES HATE today, or just a need to dump a little more bile ?
That's funny, I read through his posts and have yet to find any hate, I have found irrefutable evidence of the points he is trying to make concerning Mormonism, but not one ounce of hate.
Care to share the specifics and point directly to where he expresses any form of hate towards Mormons?

“What Im not sure you understand is that for some of us older folks who were raised as very conservative Christians before there was a Limbaugh, even before Falwell launched his Moral Majority,”"My law degree is from Liberty University. I was a member of the inaugural class of 2007."
I am confused... Are you a crusty old curmudgeon, or are you a wet behind the ears anti-mormon crusader? Can you be both? Or are you just confused about when you graduated from law school? One thing that I have noted about persons who appear to be here mainly to be disruptive is that their dates never seem to add up from post to post. But I do applaud and congratulate you on your accomplishments either way.
I am not Mormon, but one of my subordinates at work is. He is a very conservative and sincere person. I would trust him with my life and every once in a while in my line of work that occasionally has true meaning. The last time that I checked people in this country were still free to worship God in the way that they pleased. I have known a lot of Mormons during my life and every one has been good to me.
Many years ago I was a member of a small Southern Baptist Missionary Church. We grew to about sixty members. At first we met in member's houses and then later we started renting other churches facilities. All of us were very sincere in our beliefs, and had a lot of passion.
An argument started about an issue that had biblical origins... three decades later I can't even remember exactly what it was about, but it caused our group of sixty to split into two groups of thirty. Eventually nearly all of us dispersed to other churches. It was all very sad and in hindsight what seemed so important at the time should have been resolved before it ended in the destruction of what we had built. Believe it or not I learned to be more accepting of other people's points of view from that experience.
In my experience most of the people in conservative forums attempting to discourage others from voting for the only person who has a chance of sending Obama packing have malicious intent. I am sorry if you feel that your motives, for wanting our country to be irreversibly damaged and the future of our children and grandchildren to be jeopardized are benign. I am skeptical because of my previous experiences lying Obama trolls playing mind games with conservatives.

Im saying your own conscience condemns you one way or the other so why should I join in.So; you show that you do NOT have any evidence of your claim and also have the ability to read what my conscience tells me.
That is WAY cool, Dude!!

I agree, it becomes very annoying how easily so called Christians cave at the first difficulty.
My Mom used to say Christians are like tea bags, their strength comes with hot water, now she just cries.

Elsie, I appreciate your misguided tenacity but I keep wondering if you are from some wierd alternate reality. I have no idea if you are even trying to make some type of point. But thank you for your comments.

I agree with this statement even though i will reluctantly vote for Romney. LDS is another religion not a Christian one.

Yeah, I love the projection from those supporting, vocally, and claiming that he is just great, a candidate like Mitt Romney who supports both Abortion and the Gay Agenda.
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

Do you have anything material to add to the debate, like providing some logic and proof as to your claim that Elsie's Conscience is bothering her, or are we going to just have to endure your lackluster sarcasm?

Or even better, can you explain and defend your support of a man who is purposefully supporting actions and behaviors that God calls both sinful and an Abomination?
Or is you find the foundation of your morality and ethics elsewhere than with God?

Well, first of all, I'd finish my sentence, if I were you so that we can all know what you are referring to when you speak of "Falsehood".

Ha, ha, ha! I knew that Id get the Damn Romney Booster hurled at me sooner or later, regardless of any truth or evidence.
Well, here's the "truth and evidence" for you:
Here is Romney and his campaign staff, recently, on the social issues:
With regards to the Homosexual Agenda:
August 9, 2012 - Romney Says Boy Scouts Should Admit Homosexuals
May 11, 2012 - Gay Adoption 'Fine' With Romney
December 21, 2011 - Romney Says He Will Continue Obama's Policy of Having Homosexuals in Military
Paul Ryan Says He's Now Okay With Gays in the Military
With regards to Abortion (butchering babies):
August 27, 2012 - "My position has been clear throughout this campaign," Romney said. "I'm in favor of abortion being legal in the case of rape and incest, and the health and life of the mother."
